Joe Doaks and ET Develop the Perfect System

Quote from hypostomus:

I am a satisfied user of Professor Doaks' ServoTrader cybernetic theory-based software. Attached is my best trade of the morning using it. Reliable entries and exits. Very little whipsawing. No need for crayons or an over-vivid imagination as to the significance of volume. Expectation, not expectoration. Works on 5 minute charts for the slow-witted and 1 minute for the nimble fingered. Adaptable to any time frame. Stoplight signals in real time to the second. Holds through breathtaking retraces that stop out less confident traders. Guaranteed to capture the daily range, if not less. Coming soon to a WalMart near you. The premium product in the NoBrainerTrader, WalMartGreeterTrader and GrannyTrader software series. Currently only available for EasySignal. Highly recommended!

That was a very nice trade.

I have no doubt you had a bit of fun with this trade. Nicely done.

Thanks. It wasn't held long enough because I had to get on a phone job interview with the next client. That fucking call cost me $200 but made me $50K. And as you well know, that long of a trade is an eternity for me. People who hold all day have my full admiration. They must stay stoned to do it. ES version of the same trade looks like the attached. "Look Ma! No crayons!" I am close to realizing my dream of a rational SCT. No drawing skills required. Zero interpretation. No ephemera. No volume. No intelligence, even. Just pure fucking price. Long. Out. Short. SCT for Dummies. Be sure to tell Jack, hahaha!

"And when you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah-smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call."

(Referring to my long journey down Jack's rabbit hole)

euwww, lol :p

You laugh. But Jack reflects what everybody thinks when they look at a static chart. "I coudda seen dat!" "Jes tink if I'da traded all dem peaks!" "Dis is simple!" But in trying to capture simplicity he made the common engineer's mistake of overcomplicating. I could cast SCT as a hydraulic servo exercise for the student in the book Jack studied servo theory out of over 50 years ago in such a way that he could have seen the simple solution immediately. But it took me 9 years to figure it out.

I find all this quite ironic.

Hilarious even.

I must ask (even though I already know the answer). Tell me, sir. When can the rest of the world hope to find you posting these exact rules? :D :D You know, the rules you so often chided Jack for failing to provide?

ROFLMAO.

What does Jack say? "Do the work." Besides, you know it's all faked. Photoshopped execution. Stoplights triggered by manual code. Specious theories linking price to hydraulics. Hahahahaha! But I will say this. IMO there is no fucking way to make 3X. I have proved that to my satisfaction several different ways. 1X? Quite reasonable.
