For most of Saturday, Wilmington residents protesting the death of George Floyd marched peacefully.

They shouted. They cried. They briefly shut down I-95. They demanded justice for the 46-year-old, all while traveling more than 6 miles through the city.

But as day gave way to night, protesters began smashing the windows of Market Street businesses. Broken glass littered sidewalks as police in riot gear started cordoning off downtown streets.

Joe should go mingle among the crowd asking them to calm down. He'll quickly find out just how black he isn't, but at least he can have a new Corn Pop story, assuming he lives to tell it.

The rioting and looting seem to be occurring in leftist cities. The cops in those cities are letting the looting take place in areas never previously looted and they are ordered to do so by the liberal city leadership. Those leaders are still referring to the looters as "protesters" who must be "given space" to express their grievances while they cart off merchandise from stores.

Now that some high-value areas have been hit the National Guard should arrest all bipedal creatures who are on the streets during curfew. Arrest thousands of them and put them in tent camps that feature no air-conditioning and prison loaf. It could take awhile to process all of their cases so they could be sitting there for awhile.
