nice try to deflect... biden has not done anything to cause this inflation... it started in 2020 with the restart of the global economy and has continued through severe supply chain shocks around the world that have seen costs rise 500% on anything imported, trucked, shipped or produced using overseas raw materials.
if trump won he would be facing the same issues and you would be backpedaling to show how it was global supply chain issues.

The President is one variable in a hundred (perhaps more) that influences inflation. Same thing with the stock market. Biden certainly isn't helping the supply chain problem (which is impacting inflation) with his moron transportation secretary.
What exactly can a DOT person do even if qualified... I am trying to truck something from the port to a warehouse and there is a shortage of drivers and trucks are booked up for weeks and they are charging me 5x what it cost over a year ago...
Is the DOT secy supposed to go to Ajax trucking and tell them to lower their prices...... create more trucks out of thin air.... force them to hire more workers?

Logistics costs have increased 5 - 6x minimum over the past year and almost everything in this country is imported or trucked or railed from somewhere...
COSTCO announced in its earnings the affect of supply chain costs... so did Amazon. Moving wood and grains from one part of the U.S. to the other went up significantly due to trucker shortages and spikes in demand.
inflation comes from DEMAND and COSTS.
Spikes in demand for products and labor has increased labor costs and money and demand for goods increased product prices. Logsitics is a huge part of the cost since we import almost everything and demand created shortages..
seriously.... you really want to fight me on this when all the evidence is out there and I even produced it...
demand for labor increases wages which increases prices.. wash rinse repeat...
you guys sit in your basements while I deal with international trade and costs have gone up close to 100% in many cases or more to move any product anywhere in the world.
