The Los Angeles Times tries to give us a 'splainer on why Kamala has been relegated to the sidelines and no longer prez-in-waiting. The real explanation of course is that she is a dud, not very bright, not liked, and does not seem to have any area where she competent. Oh, that's right she became animated and energized over the alleged horse whipping event. Then, even that turned out to be fake.
The LA Times is pretty flaccid on her too but makes an attempt to splain to us that she is just transitioning into "a traditional vice presidential role," I guess as opposed to what, I suppose is/was the question.
Seems like it has only been a couple weeks since the official dem script on her was that she was a super woman and old sexist Joe was taking advantage of her by assigning her all the difficult tasks, and that nasty old sexist American just expected more from her because she was a woman, or should that be "a people."
Whatever. She went to central american triangle countries once and announced this week that she does not expect to go again this year. And a couple weeks ago- there was a high level meeting in Mexico on the border scam and she did not go and apparently was not invited. And the caravans keep coming. Of course this is the Biden administration, so she may just deal with it all by declaring her work to be "an extraordinary success."
Actually, some of the attempts to clean her up in this article, have some entertainment value:
