Can you think of any reason why Joe put Susan Rice in the position of Chief Domestic Policy advisor/Czar/whatever when 100% of her background was in foregin affairs?

The answer is that Obama, and Valerie Jarrett know that Kamala is a dud but Susan Rice lacks domestic policy experience on her resume for a 2024 run.

Yes, Susan Rice has baggage and problems but so do all the candidates.

The point is not really about whether Susan Rice is this or that. Just sayin, that some people have been realistic early on that you need to position or invest in someone other than Kamala for the long run.

Were it not for the fact that Joe owed Jim Clyburn, he probably would have or could have gone with Amy Klobuchar as VP which would have been a better pick.Yeh, I get that Kamala brought some votes and progressive support that Klobo would not get. On the other hand she was a woman so that brings a lefty goal into the mix that many progressives would have still rallied for - plus - and this was unthinkable to say at the time- a lot of people did not like Kamala. Although it is more apparent now. I dont think she brought that many votes that another lefty candidate could not have brought.

I think you and I might agree on that, which means then that most likely I am wrong.

Reminds me of during the debate where he was asked about what he would do about AFG and he rattled on at length giving the reminder that he has always recommended dividing the country into three countries. Clearly referring to what Iraq. Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan. Whatever. They all look alike in the dark.

Oh, and in regard to that f-up at the debates, not a single moderator called him on it.

Yeah, I don’t know. I like Susan Rice on paper but she doesn’t have a visible empathetic side, and that goes a long way in a democrat primary. I really don’t think she would make it.

However, having her in the White House is a good idea. She is probably one of the smartest people in government and if it’s one thing I’ve learned in life it’s you can move the truly smart people around.

Whatever, I’m not ready to throw in the towel on Kamala either. Never underestimate ambition. She knows she has a problem right now. She knows Biden knows too. Let’s see if she can adjust.

All that ambition did not save her from having to throw in the towel in the primary did it? She says it was just because she ran out of money. Well yeh, she ran out of money because people ran out of interest in her.

I get it though. You dems have a chronic problem of just always wanting Kamala to be more than what she is. No one can name a single thing she has ever done other than to be born semi-black and a woman.

Will they find some role for her where she just gets to bloviate on progressive stuff? Yeh. For what its worth. Unfortunately for her, the border has observable and measureable consequences. Not where she shines or anywhere for that matter.

Anyway, we will be having a Sasquatch siting at the border today. Let's see how her learning curve is coming along.

RINO extreme liberals got played by Usurper-in-Chief, Joe Biden and the extreme liberal Democrats. They are stupid as hell to believe you can trust cheaters. Then, again they conspired with these same bunch in certifying election results of November 3, 2020, at the time numerous evidence was being presented on the massive election fraud. Idiots did not even look at the evidence or investigate it. Now, if they have any brain cells working, RINO extreme liberals should scuttle the deal. Let the Democrats pass their own infrastructure bill via reconciliation process and it will be in the trillions. Try to have as much of the pork removed by the parliamentarian who will review it. Add as many amendments to it and put the Democrat Senators votes on record.
