Joe Biden - The Fake President

Show me the richest counties in America and I will show you where democrats are in power.

Show me the poorest counties in America and I will show where republicans are in power.

A lot of this right wing hatred in cities is based on racism. If you guys cared at all about the well-being of Americans there is no way you would be republicans.

Show me where Americans are the sickest and I will show you a Republican in power.

Show me where Americans have the lowest life expectancy and I will show you a Republican in power.

I could go on and on. The only place where republicans thrive is when they are in a blue or purple state. The red states are all beat up shit holes.

So, things are good on the Dem Plantation.

It clearly is the goal to make the rest of America like Chicago or Newark and you are well on your way.

And yeh, some of the commies live pretty good. We know that.

Anyway, what's your prediction on the final outcome in the NYC race, I mean at the primary level, we know a dem is going to ultimately be elected so the primary is the race.

You are closer to the "crime scene" literally there in NYC so probably have some insights. I dont follow NYC that closely and want to keep it that way. I get that the ranked ballot thing complicates matters considerably, also simplifies in some ways. Cuts down on the run-offs and all the bloviating that goes with that.

Haberman pushing political propaganda that is retarded that only a retarded sheeple would disseminate.

This is just made up bullshit to continue to disparage Trump. CNN has absolutely nothing to do with journalism.

So Sean Hannity calls Maggie Haberman a "Trump stalker" while Hannity himself remains a Trump fluffer.

New York and Chicago are rich, the problem there is the guns coming in from red states. As guns sales sky rocket, gun crimes increase. Property crimes are actually down it’s the streets are flooded with loose guns. We could use some help from our republican friends to get the guns under control.

As to NYC, I’m notoriously bad at predicting the mayoral race and this year is even more complicated with this rank choice thing I don’t understand. Maybe it’s better maybe it’s worse I don’t know. I looked into it and it’s not worth my time to learn with so many candidates. I’m looking at this one as a learning experience.

My guess is Garcia so that means she has no chance. Sanitation is big in NYC and she is a pretty tough person so she might garner support Adams may be counting on. But the truth is I don’t know.

Can only speak to Chicago but guns coming in from red states is not the problem. The problem is uneducated unwed mothers and a very weak prosecutor who doesn't come down on the uneducated unwed sperm donors.

Yes, the Democrat elites are doing fine, but the rest of the people ...

With the 2018 midterm elections in the books, both major and minor political changes have occurred. In the Senate there was little change except for a few pickups by the Republican Party, which already had control of that chamber.

The House of Representatives, on the other hand, saw substantial changes. Democrats took control of the House, gaining at least 30 seats (there are still technically 422 of 435 seats undeclared), and bringing the balance of power up to 225 Democrat representatives against 197 Republican. Democrats, in fact, now represent 41 out of the top 50 wealthiest congressional districts — and all 10 of the top 10 wealthiest districts, according to a recent election study.

Underneath this surface of wealth, however, lies a great deal of wealth inequality. And, unfortunately, this wealth inequality isn’t just limited to the richest congressional districts: It’s a growing trend that plagues far too many congressional districts, cities and states alike.

Take a look below for a deeper analysis at some of the more egregiously wealthy yet unequal congressional districts of 2018.

Wealth and Inequality in America’s Richest Districts
To assess the level of wealth and income inequality in congressional districts, the Gini index was used as the prime indicator. The Gini index, or Gini coefficient, is used to measure the level of economic inequality in a given place, whether it’s a zip code or a country. The Gini index ranges from zero (or 0%) to 1 (or 100%), in which zero represents perfect equality while 1 represents perfect inequality.

Thus, the higher the Gini index, the worse the inequality. In the case of judging congressional districts, ones with a Gini index of 0.50 (50%) or higher are considered the most unequal. Here’s a look at the districts that suffer from high Gini coefficients while being among the richest congressional districts.

5. New York – District 3
Representative: Thomas Suozzi

Party: Democrat

Gini index: 0.5053

4. California – District 33

3. New York – District 12

2. Connecticut – District 4

Geographic Patterns Shared By These Districts
The main theme that can be discerned is that these districts often cover portions of urban centers, but then reach outward into areas that have become wealthy suburban sprawl.

New York District 3, for example, covers parts of Brooklyn and Queens — thus New York City proper — but also includes some of the richest towns on Long Island, such as Old Westbury with a median income of $164,286; Dix Hills, $145,387; and Jericho, $143,829.

Even more imbalanced is Connecticut District 4. The congressional district covers a large swathe of Connecticut, from Greenwich in the east, to the city of Bridgeport in the west. In this small area covered, incomes and inequality are severe. One only has to observe the difference in incomes between the east and west endpoints to appreciate the problem. In Old Greenwich, the median income is an incredible $224,009, whereas the city of Bridgeport’s median income is a mere $43,137.

White House draws ire of progressives amid voting rights defeat

But before GOP senators blocked the bill later in the evening, progressives had already started grumbling about the White House, where public and private resentment toward President Biden had been mounting all day.

"We're past the point where we've lost faith that he's going to do it on his own," said Cliff Albright, co-founder of the Black Voters Matter Fund, about Biden's approach the Capitol Hill fight over the For the People Act.

Albright took Biden to task early into his term when he urged the newly elected president to prioritize election reforms ahead of other policy issues. He's since been campaigning around the country with a cohort of organizers to emphasize the gravity of the situation on the ground.

Activists like Albright were perplexed after watching Biden give wide-ranging speeches on other areas of his agenda and embark on a national infrastructure tour. He wondered why infrastructure in particular took precedence over loudly defending a basic democratic concept.

Y'all see how the scam works, right?

Use covid to raise funds, then not to worry about how to get gun-related funding through Congress. And in addition to skirting around republicans, he is able to outmaneuver dems who are opposed to helping the police or funding them.

Yeh, covid funds. Like infrastructure funds, your definition may vary.
