Really? You have it on good authority that people won't be able to fly or go to an entertainment venue or go to work (which is why I assume you mentioned eviction) if they don't have a vaccine?

The UK just today announced that vaccines won't be mandatory.

Our company won't require it. Only my parents and a few others I know have stated they would get it. Most people I know said no way.

Not to mention there is no nationwide database to check and confirm it.

I see that airline flight attendants are lobbying/agitating to be classified as essential workers to help their priority to get vaccine.

Their argument is that people who work in key positions that do not allow them to social distance while on duty should be prioritized.

Not an unreasonable point, and their unions and advocates get paid to speak for their interestst, so there is room for listening to those arguments. Does not necessarily put them at high priority though. Maybe a tier this or tier that. It's all about availabilility and demand.

Many other vendors such as Ticketmaster are part of the effort as well and use the technology for domestic applications such as admission to a concert venue.

As I said in some posts long ago, eventually we will arrive at the point which will drive questions such as: 1) What if I received a Chinese or Russian or other vaccine in another country- does that count? And from there 2) If Chinese or Russian or vaccines are accepted by airlines and we are restricted by availability, why can Chinese or Russian vaccines not be sold in the U.S.?

Not putting that up on the table again right now, nor am I taking it off. Just sayin, I have not taken my hand off the board yet. Those issues lay ahead.

And if three months down the road the experience seems to be that they are working well in other countries, then we had better be producing at high levels or those questions will raise their head with a vengeance.

I expect that vaccines that are approved in your country of residence will be considered legitimate for a "COVID passport" green check mark.

Yeah, well I thought about it... a lot. Designing a database to support the entire world with over 5 billion rows...and the need for a 1 second data response time, and 2-3 seconds of network latency ? NO TRIVIAL TASK....and requires a perfect design.
However, with that database, comes tremendous power: if one vaccine from any one country proves to be less than effective, then anyone who received it is immediately "flagged".
This is what we need.
