Quote from ZZZzzzzzzz:
Let's see, Biden could be making more money as a corrupt lobbyist with all of his political contacts, he could make a ton if he decided to do so, but he decides instead to be a public servant and live on that income?
Quote from TT1:
2007 $319,853 $995

Wade also suggests that Biden, who is famous for being the least wealthy member of the U.S. Senate, simply doesnât have piles of money to give. âLike a lot of families that put three kids through college and have an aging parent move in with them, the Bidens arenât divorced from the realities of everyday life,â Wade says.
Quote from Pa(b)st Prime:
His son made 1.6 million as a lobbyist for banking concerns who Biden supported. Biden has already covered the "corrupt lobbyist" base.

Quote from james_bond_3rd:
Biden can't win against McCain competing for "corrupt lobbyist" votes. Biden only has one lobbyist son. How many lobbyist girlfriends does McCain have?
Quote from bigdavediode:
Cite, please. I am aware that the son worked for a law firm that also does lobbying, but I'm especially interested in the 1.6 million figure that you've posted, unattributed.
(Using this logic, that everybody is guilty because they're related, McCain has the drug addict thief base covered as he's married to one.)
Hunter Biden was a partner with Oldaker, Biden and Belair where he was registered to lobby for nine clients. Six of his clients were universities, including the University of Scranton and Xavier University. His firm billed a total of $1.7 million in the first six months of 2008, according to disclosure reports that must be filed with Congress each quarter. On Bidenâs nine accounts, the firm took in $470,000 in that period, according to the reports.
The decision was a response to Obamaâs desire to distance itself from Washingtonâs influence business. Obama has banned lobbyists from advising his campaign and he doesnât accept political donations from lobbyists or political action committees.

In any case Hunter Biden has quit the lobbyist part of his firm.
