Biden Harris > Clinton Kaine and that’s all that matters.
Is she Kamala the cop or is she defund the police?
Harris is a good pick. I like Susan Rice, she is as sharp as a tack but you can tell she is not the kissing babies/people person type.
Harris brings energy and charisma. She helps the ticket.
The defund the police nonsense is really the biggest thing that can hurt democrats this cycle, in my opinion. Biden isn’t afraid to bring the party in, even if it is against some activists. He did it when asked if he would commit to not deporting undocumented people who have committed crimes and he also went against Castro’s stance on removing border crossing language from certain laws Trump was using to separate children from parents.
Harris compliments this. She is a former AG and can easily speak on the subject. That will not be an issue for base democrats.

Kamala is a solid strategic choice relative to other Democrat options, especially since Joe may not live through his first term. In my opinion, assuming Biden wins the Presidency of course, Joe has effectively nominated the 47th President of the United States.
Kamala provides balance against Radical Left calls for abolishing police departments, reducing Center Democrat concerns.
Kamala is young (By current senor political leadership standards), smart, and energetic. I see Kamala and I’m sure others do as well, as having sufficient strength of character to stand up to many of the impulses of the Radical Far Left, reducing fears of critical Independent voters.
Kamala will bury Pence in the VP debates.
If Trump does not up his game substantially in the next few months...

We and the voters have seen the luster wear off of Skankala's "energy and charm" before.
You are making good points, but where was this analysis before the fact? The fact is, Kamala won't bring in the Black vote. If Tony Stark were here then he would agree. The same hindsight/Monday morning quarterbacking that allows you to make these good points will be brought back when searching for answers on why the Black vote went missing. Susan Rice is smart and her backing Biden would have caused a different outcome.
Get ready for 4 more years of Trump. Utilize that same hindsight to piece together why the Black vote decided to stay at home in 2020.
