I guess consumer confidence isn't polling the right people. They need to have some statistical adjustments made to consumer confidence index measures to better reflect the new reality.

I'll tell you what was going on, the fix was in. This reminds me of the 5% gap up on the VIX every Monday.
Markets making new highs Vix know were near its lows, it gaps up 5% ever Monday, just watch.
All goverment data is bogus, only when wall street is good and short, will the data reverse.
