I am wondering what firms are hiring Entry Level Traders currently in Chicago. I am looking for a job in a prop shop in Chicago I have a BBA-Finance, played competitive sports ect. If anyone has any information that can help me out that would be great. Does anyone know anything about simplex investments? I have a phone interview with them next week and would like to know if anyone works for them or has any info about the firm.

I worked at simplex in 2007. It's a good place to learn options. You will be using there semi-automated trading software. It puts in orders at the bid and ask price. Their only goal is to capture the spread. It's an incredibly boring but relatively riskless form of trading. However, you will learn a lot about options.

If you want an awesome experience work in the pit as a clerk. They pay 30k$ starting, but you learn from the best. You should give them try, no harm in contacting them...
