didnt all those at cnbc look like fools with their predictions, everyone of them predicted something under 100,000.

167,000 is quite strong, this brings the chance of a rate cut down significantly. If anything a chance of a hike is certainly possible.

Also MOT warned and DELL/INTC downgraded. I think we open down somewhat and then trade to the upside.
 
It misses the big picture though...........manufacturing jobs DOWN 12,000.


Who cares how many extra "door greeters" Bath and Body Works added for holiday shopping.....LOL! :D

The 167,000 is a nice number, especially on the backs of several previous month revisions. But let's face it, this number probably got pumped up by about 30,000 due to the weather. Dec. numbers can often be volatile and subject to revision.
No big deal here.
