Job Fight: Immigrants vs. Locals

What kills me, is most people on ET and in the Country are surprised by what is happening. OBAMA did not sneak up on us. He did not Lie to us or the US. He did not pretend to be anyother thiing than a socialist.

The road we are on, was paved with "AMERICAN'S".

And they will travel the very road they paved.

People like me have other roads to take.

One thing we can say about OBAMA is, he did not pretend to be anything less than a Marxist......and he was voted it, fair and square.
 
This is exactly the example I've witnessed time and time again.

People coming from third world countries, getting degrees here, usually with no cost to them, and them competing with Americans on jobs here. They often get in and eventually turn into citizens. Nothing wrong with this concept.
However, the numbers, including H1b visas are well into the hundreds of thousands a year.

Only issue is that there seem to be a limitless supply and the numbers keep going up. Also, you don't see the process happening in reverse, at least not significantly. How many Texans are moving to Beijing in pursuit of a better life?

This is not outsourcing but just as powerful. When you add major outsourcing and an economic slowdown these trends do add up to create a powerful impact.

This trend has been put in place over the years by corporate America for obvious reasons, once again with total disregard of the impact on local workforce.

This tells us that at the tender age of 24 you don't have the first clue of reality or a grasp of the facts.

You say you live rent free...there in lies the first problem, you don't recognize the fact that "life" , whether living at home or not, should not be a free lunch....my daughter works part time and attends college full time . My son will have his first job this summer ,and BOTH will pay a nominal rent..the amount is not important, but the principle is very important.

It is not that they have to pay rent,but there is a lesson of responsibility and respect that has to be instilled from the outset.

In relation to your last paragraph of your diatribe....it is a complete contradiction in of itself.....re read. Bottom line...immigrants spend money here....get it; here....whereas jobs outsourced to other countries provide NO local direct stimulus.

Keep up this attitude and you won't need a bailout, but a lock up.

Outsourcing is an international phenomenon and, therefore, does not apply to not the United States alone.
