Thanks for all your concerns. But really, I'm okay. I don't have an ego. I know when to listen to good advice when I see it. Being able to tell what's good or bad advice is a talent I have. My comment to heech was more about trying to piss him off than expressing my beliefs. He might be one of the best traders in the world. But I doubt it. I do a lot of research and knowing how to filter and analyze huge amounts of contradictory information and make good judgment is a skill I've developed well.

I would write more, but there's too much to reply to. I believe I've gotten all the help that ET can offer. Everything is ready. I'm only writing this to respectfully show I'm not ignoring anyone.

There were some comments relating to my systems. It was tempting to reply to them. However, I'm gonna stay discipline and continue to strictly enforce what I said about not revealing details at the moment.

It's almost overkill to comment on your "good judgment".... I think the jury is already out. I'm not judging you on the basis of your trading, but rather your life decisions as a whole.

I'm not here to discuss me, but I will say I practice what I preach. Karma has been very good to me this decade... And I know it's because I earned it.

Your detail-less descriptions of X loss for Y trades and missed entries prompted me to post a basic chart (without analysis). My goal was to prompt you to discuss (and therefore think more about) what you have been doing over the last 3 days.

I was tempted to cross post daily charts from another journal here written by a young lady who's worked her tail off and is well on her way to being a CP trader. I think you could learn much from her journal. You blew her off on about page 20 in her journal - early in her learning curve.

It's not a coincidence that journals are placed in the "Trading for a Living" section on ET. The transition to full time trading should mirror the ability of a trader to fund his living expenses out of trading income. Getting there comes down to capitalization and method. Many of the folks who've offered you advice here (unfortunately not me) are already at that level in the game.

I don't understand this at all. If you want to cross swords with the dark side of ET, there are many here who are masters at playing head games. Heech was offering perspective and advice based on his beliefs. If you are here to play head games with folks in my arrogant opinion - You are way over matched. That distraction hopefully has nothing to do with why you are here.

I think you need to re-evaluate this belief.

It's a shame you've drawn that conclusion. Most acknowledge that trading is less than a zero sum game. The exceptions (successful CP traders) develop themselves through self education, market research, self evaluation, and a willingness to evolve internally and methodologically.

This is the saddest, yet simultaneously one of the funniest parts :p

Let me ask you this... are you consistently profitable? And if not, why do you think anyone would be asking you about your system? Do you think anyone really wants to learn the intricate details of a losing system? Could it be because they want to help you, yet you are paranoid so you dismiss them?

Please think about that for a second...

Honestly, I think of your trading thread like a car driving down a road... it keeps veering off the side, and people keep trying to push it back on, but you keep declining their help. Soon enough, the car will run off the road and fall off the cliff.

People (other than Jin): If Jin doesn't want your help, then don't help him... Let his system be his downfall, and he will learn his lesson.

I've made a lot of tweaks has been since I joined back in May. The big disadvantage is being under-capitalized. That's why elements of the system was designed to make up for it. There's a reason why I had that first big success back in early August. And that was before some more modifications were made that would make it better. Furthermore, I've finally gotten my psychological barriers under control just recently. I've said everything is ready for a reason.

Anyways, Thank you for making your 127th post in my thread. I'll be using this as a sign for good luck. You might as well stop posting here.

I'll be shutting off communication in this thread for the next few weeks as they are distracting so I can focus entirely on my trading. I will kindly ask the moderator to delete any posts (from anyone) made after this.

B/E on seven trades. Had an early gain. Then made one mistake that cost me $50. I was going short and saw a huge order to sell 115+ contracts near my stop and thought that would make excellent resistance. Next thing I knew, price zipped through like it wasn't there. Made it back by going long during the trend but got out too early. Some hard stops were a big savior on a few trades.

Did one more long at a higher price, but got stop at break even on a pullback. It eventually worked. But I'm not mad. Overall, I'm happy with how disciplined I was today. I had to take an "either I got in at a good price or I take a small loss (or b/e) no matter what" approach today.

Tough day.

I'm up $125 on eight trades. The morning was really tough. When short a couple of times with good entries but had to exit at b/e. I almost started breaking my rules from the frustration. I stayed calm and saw signs of a rally developing. Made around $50-100 each on the next two trades. I will post a chart of them in a bit.

Today discipline and strict obedience of my rules help kept my losses small and end the day positive. The account ended today at an even $900 again. That's like 3 or 4 times this year.
