Late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel admitted during a Wednesday podcast appearance that he may have lost half of his audience — possibly even more than that — when he made a conscious choice to bash former President Donald Trump.
Kimmel discussed the issue with the “Naked Lunch” podcast host and “Everybody Loves Raymond” creator Phil Rosenthal, and he explained that he decided he could not in good conscience lay off the former president for the sake of his own show’s success.
“Does ABC ever say to you, ‘Hey, could you not just attack this side and lay off a little bit? Cause we are gonna lose those people?’” Rosenthal asked, noting that Kimmel’s animosity extended to a number of Republicans other than just Trump.

Fellow comedian Bill Maher took the opposite position, noting that while he was perfectly willing to attack Trump, he didn’t extend that animosity toward Trump’s voters. “It’s half the country,” he explained.
They will get their walking papers soon enough. Twitter and now Facebook/Meta has announced mass layoffs, CNN is cutting the number of its hacks working for them on cable TV. For all the lies and disinformation they have spread and Zuckerberg interfering in US elections, they all deserve to lose their jobs.
Never. There is no value in these type of shows. I would rather watch reality TV to get entertained. My enjoyment is that much more.
Its all about ego. Actors, hosts of comedy shows, authors (see Stephen King) think that because they are successful in entertaining, that everyone needs to hear their views on politics. Stephen King is a great author - love his books. But then the yambag decides to get all insane politically and I put him on ignore. Write books, Steve. Shut your yap elsewhere.

Love Greg Gutfeld. He is one funny guy especially, when he is mocking the extreme liberals. Kat Timpf is also, fun to watch with her funny quips. Won't compare him to Kimmel, Colbert and other extreme liberal clowns trying to be funny. Those guys are just talentless clowns.
