No, I think zdreg was pretty accurate. Perhaps YOU need to re-read what you said. You called him a "half-time" investor, said he had a "piece of shit" that he drove around the world, and said you were discounting what he had to say and he was wrong on China.
And, you still haven't given an iota of reasoning for any of your statements, just as zdreg said.

If you read his book it describes his car and trailer in great detail.
I disagree that driving around the world in that vehicle, even through extremely poor countries is stupid. Some people are more adventurous than others, and he had one hell of an adventure....actually two. As for the car itself, it generated a lot of positive attention and got him out of some sketchy situations.
My disagreement isn't that I think he's not adventurous...although I find that to meet local peple you're usually best not to show up in a suped up Mercedes...they usually treat you differently. Meeting real people just doesn't fly when you pull up in a car that's mods cost more than those people's homes.
My qualm isn't with the guy, I respect his lifestyle more than Soros or most any other full time investor...but I do think he could be less informed than the Soros's of the world because of his extracurricular activities...I'm the same way and make less money than I could but don't really care.
