"JEWS KILLED THE LORD JESUS"

Quote from BernardRichards:

You have a point outside of your Harry Potter fairy tale Stu?

It has been a while since I studied the Guide of the Perplexed so I don't see it.

Help me out here I am. What is his point?

I am amazed though in your perspicacity Stu in determining that LeapUp was a male and not a female!
Now you've gone and missed the point about missing the point.
down 2.

Quote from vhehn:

if another being, say a satan, is able to do things the prime mover disaproves of the prime mover is then not omnipotent.

Moronically simple arguments don't fly here. If the devil can get you to believe lies and get you into a deal you don't fully understand and the prime mover is such an honorable gentleman that he doesn't interfere with those deals unless you ask... then that's the way it really is...

Stu seems to be mocking, enparody, the bookish mania that fuels contemporary Christian thought. He seems to be saying that Harry Potter is more popular than me and the Beattles. By discussing pointlessness in great detail, Stu magically converts pointlessness into a pseudo-meaningfulness which attracts/diverts attention. This is essentially the schoolboy basics of magic 101. In this way, the Potter series is magical in the way that the bible is magical, pitting good vs evil, as if both were real and worth fighting about. As I said before, the mad mind thinks in terms of specifics, which is what story-telling is all about. Specificity in great detail, backed by emotional emphasis, conjures an alt-reality in the mind of the imaginative reader-listener. Such is the world...specific storytelling designed to replace reality in the mind of the mind-wanderer, held captive by captivating details. The net effect is a kind of atheism because if the details are true, then the truth cannot be true. By mocking the mockery, Stu seems to be promoting the truth. Its a parodox. It's a truism that the discussion of pointlessness is...still pointless.

This I can understand! Thank you.

It is straight out of The Tibetan Book of The Dead, and you didn't even reference it.

You rascal.

Actually I am up 2 and you are down 2.

I recognized your missing point, and then I confirmed it to you.

How can the Prime Mover interfere in anything?
Perfection demands no change.

Another proof that Jesus Son of God and Trinity ideas are canards.

Quote from I am...:

Correct. And to that effect, Christianity, as popularily percieved, promotes atheism.
Jesus

A religion that has a Satan that can stand up to God promotes Dualism -- not atheism.

However, Christianity with an independent acting Satan and the Trinity concept is actually a form of polytheism.

Christianity isn't just a heretical form of Judaism. It started out that way alright, but then this heretical form of Judaism started to make all forms of comprimises so that it would have maximum appeal to all pagan non-Jews. Hence, it incorporated in itself all forms of idolatrous concepts and practices.

Just look at the Catholic church even now. Catholics kneel before statues of humans that they have deified somehow. They see godly figures crying in windows, the sky, and in general appearing in material substances all over the place.

Yes, it promotes dualism, which is the same as to promote atheism. That's because duality is a myth. There is no tree of good and evil. There is no world. There is no devil. There is no man. Not really. These are all made up, and when they grab attention, the truth of oneness is pushed out, and images [imagination] blinds minds to reality, making the images real instead. To such minds, *our Father* is a myth, and Christ is only acceptable if mangled beyond recognition. To such mind states, the true attributes of God are impossible, beyond belief, unnacceptable, and resisted. To such minds, true thoughts about God are rare, few, far between, and dismissed readily with atheistic intellect. The net effect is a hardened, atheistic attitude about what is the truth. When dualists talk about "God", they are not at all presenting the true attributes of God. And so they are not talking about God at all. How is that not atheistic? What they are talking about is an idol that virtually replaces God with a mockery of God. What's a few more idols in addition to that? Technically, the world is an idol, full of idols. The world's maker is idolized, and its handiwork is lauded, cherished, prized, praised and pumped, even as it so obviously dumps the duped that fall for it. To such minds, there IS NO GOD BEYOND OR HIGHER THAN THE "GOD" THAT MAKES THE WORLD. How atheistic is that? Dualism kills the truth, feels guilty about it, and dissociates it through blame games.

I already conceded to you I am that you have a black belt in madness. You can obfuscate and discombobulate to the nth degree, but you haven't answered my question.

What comes after madness?

And besides bringing benign chaos to philosophical discussions what can you do?

Actions speak louder than words!

For example, I am working on One Finger Zen.

What are you working on?
