No, you are wrong. I am asking you to explain gravity, and you do not give the answer, but rather say that other do not understand scientist. I am a scientist myself. I am not talking about God, but rather that you explain to us how is the pulling done? The question is straightforward.
By the way, Jesus does not do the pulling. Physically, he is just a guy like you and I, made of bones, etc. If that is what you mean by God, then Jesus is not God.
You and everyone out there is incapable to do explain gravity. That is my point. The rest is for you to reflect on.
If you think that you know how gravity works, then write it up, you will have a Nobel Prize next year--- I am certain of that.
If you want to intimidate the best of all physists in the world, next time ask him to explain to you how is the pulling done for gravity, and look at him mumbling, his ears turning red, or a smile and something like "I do not have time to discuss that now", etc....
at one point primitive man could not explain thunder and lightning. they were sure it was their god showing his displeasure. were they right?

You are still distorting things. I never wrote that it is proof that God exists, or does not exist.
What I am writing is that human knowledge is incomplete or flawed, and therefore cannot be used to prove the non-existence of God or to explain this world.
This world, up to this point, is beyond human understanding despite man being around for a long time here, and walking tall as if he knows it all.
Many people do not believe in god because they are under the impression that science knows the answers, when in fact it does not.
There is something else that can be used to indicate the existence of God with a high probability, but you seem not to possess yet the composure and the brain power and objectivity in engaging in such as debate. When you do, let me know if you was to discuss it.
religion has had thousands of years and so far there has never been a shred of evidence pointing to any supernatural force. science in less than a century has answered all of the former "god did it" questions. there is more we will understand in the future but since none of the previous questions showed any god evidence why would you think future ones will?

Religion has proved the existence of God with a probability of close to 1. You just do not know about it. The proof is scientific, not based on belief.

You now have the evidence that there are people who are better than you in science, and are believers.
In contrast you believe in non existence of God (which could be fine if done randomly) but based on others impressing you with science to the point that you you were thinking (and many be you still are) that scientist have figure out things gravity which is a mandane force. Come on man. Your entire argument says that sense we humans don't know everything there must be a god.
That doesn't make sense.
Your argument for the existence of god makes about as much sense as saying you don't know what black holes or distant stars are made of so there must be a god because we don't know.
Your argument makes about as much sense as saying we don't know what will happen tomorrow so there must some type of supreme force that knows.
Religion and the belief in a god is a natural human desire for comfort.
I would feel very comfortable and almost euphoric to be convinced that I would live an eternal life and that there was a loving god that would take care of me like a baby. unfortunately I am not dumb enough to actually think that.

Actually, it is more like the core message of christianity.
But, christianity does not reflect the core message of Jesus.
It's easy to make fun of the core message of christianity.
It reflects magical hocus pocus, mixed up non-sense.
So, taking it on is like a bully on a playground looking for the littlest kid to beat up.
But the little kid's fight for his beliefs, and the bullies fight for his "rationality" are a misdirection...a distraction...a false front.
The purpose of this stupid fight is to take your attention away from the authentic message of Jesus.

Unless things have changed, I've been on vhehn's ignore list a long time now. He will engage anyone he thinks he can actually beat up or put down. It's like watching World Wrestling Entertainment. The Bible outdoes the Quran six ways to Sunday on look-forward prophecy. Including that the earth is suspended on space (not on the back of turtles): "He stretches out the north over empty space and hangs the earth on nothing." - Job 26:7
That the earth rotates: "The earth is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment." Job 38:14
That the earth is round "It is He who sits above the circle of the earth" Isaiah 40:22
Try reading Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53 and compare it to the purpose of Christ and the crucifixion in the New Testament. It clearly describes a man being crucificied centuries before Rome even appeared in Israel with this method. The parallels and purpose are evident even to the blind.
The New Testament was a fulfillment of the Old Testment, and did not have to be reinterpreted or rewritten - this is what you would expect from a Deity. The Qu'ran however, had to change a huge amount of theology, including things from shifting from Isaiah to Ishmael as the lineage, from Sovereign Grace back to a works-based religion, from removing Christ as God to just a prophet, and a huge amount of other things. This is what you would expect by a human authored book.
