Actually now that you mention it, maybe republicans could use this as an issue to stir up the base.......

The republican house could pass a bill stating all pedophiles should instantly be dragged outside the courtroom and shot in the head, then see which side opposes that bill, I have a funny feeling it sure as fuck wouldnt be republicans opposing that idea......

Against it? Democrats want to blame the victim, not the pedophile. The pedophile needs help according to them. He should be given tax payer money. Republicans basically support electrocuting them. I personally don't. But I would bet a majority of those on the right would just as soon give them the death penalty. The left of course wants to give them a hug.

I think most thinking people of all political affiliation would come down on the side of due process, and would not consider that defense of the deviant behavior.

Anyway, in your scenario, there would be a lot (apparently) of republicans being taken out and shot. We might see democrats defending those republicans' right to a trial, imagine that! : )

You seem to think I give a fuck whether or not the pedophile being shot is a democrat or a republican........ I can assure you that I am not prejudice in this regard..... bullets kill all pedos just the same, regardless of party affiliation.
