what up dog, you taking the day off seeing it as a repeat of last Monday?
good job last Friday. As in a continuation of Thursday, I got whipsawed fairly well like all the signals were in Arabic script and i could not make much sense out of them.
however, up today, catching a bit of the run up in the morning after it broke through the previous high with good volume and been playing the subsequent chop since 10 with small size. leaning long but without much conviction, i.e. short at 11:32, took some off at 7 cents profit, stop just above the high, which is a 3 cent loss WITHOUT slippage.

Hey man, good to see that you're having yourself a good day so far this morning. You're right, pretty boring day for me so far. Either you hop on the train early in the morning on a day like today or you're stuck on the sidelines for a bit. I've had a couple good long NQ trades and also just recently short from 1811.50 so it hasn't been a total waste of a morning. Only one ES trade so far and that was just a small short at 1109.25 for 6 ticks. Getting ready to grab some lunch and come back fresh for the afternoon session.
Good to hear you are also up on the day. I am mostly out on that 12:15 gap down though still holding a couple of hundred shares JUST IN CASE it comes in to test the previous resistance turned support around ES 1101.5 and I too am off to get some eats.

got stopped out up there but looking like the rangebound chop is still intact with Bernanke's 12:15 chatter throwing a little volatility into it. let's see if it breaks down or continues its slow climb up.

yeah man, it is all i can do to keep from playing a game or three of poker but if you can get a point or two here and there within the chop's sloooooooow move up, you are doing well...ok, maybe a half a point/5 cents here and there the past hour.
the bernanke thing did seem to bring a little fuel into the system but it seems to have been spent by 1 o'clock(maybe like you suggested, the shorts coming in then their covering pushing it up.)
lunch break over soon, let's hope for a little more flux to play with.
you cover some of it at that 2:57 spike or looking for a bigger, complete trend reversal move?
