Jeff's Trade Journal

A fairly confusing day for me so far and the trade's that I have seen I just haven't had the confidence in to take. I think the confidence will just keep building on itself with continued screen time.
 
Sort of a tricky trading day it seemed like and I'm still getting my eyes trained to seeing all the setups. The next step is to take all the appropriate trades that come my way. I need to remember that the max gain comes when taking all the signals during the day and not just trying to cherry pick certain ones. My breakdown for the day went:

Trade 1 - Long ES for - 1.5 pts

Trade 2 - Long ES for +3 pts

Trade 3 - Short NQ for +1 pt

Trade 4 - Short ES for +1 pt

Trade 5 - Long NQ for +2.25 pts

A slow start but I'm working on seeing the setups and building my confidence.

Slow but steady improvement for me thus far. The name of the game for me is going to be to concentrate on the process and not the PnL for now!
 
Long NQ at 1186, not a huge target on this one. Tried to buy the ES and just missed getting a good fill.

*edit* - Stopped out at 1183, really can't get anything going so far today but taking small losses at least.
 
Very strange day so far. We went and tested Globex highs after the open and price got rejected up there and now we're trying to hold the globex lows in ES while we haven't gotten anywhere near the lows in NQ.

The market is trading like it wants to go up but there's also little conviction by both buyers and sellers this morning.
