Rand is going to get crucified by media. Both left and right, no matter how well he does.

Are you thinking of something in particular with which the media will try to assault him?
Are you talking about his stance on use of the military, for example?
He seems to defend his positions very well.
This guy is pretty smart.
He knows how to campaign "outside the usual Republican box".
Either way, it'll be interesting.
When I look at Jeb as well as Hillary, I just don't see either party base getting fired up about either of those candidates. The only way I see Jeb (or Hillary for that matter) getting the nomination is if they are able to completely destroy all of their competition. Yeah...I give a Bush vs Hillary race 50% chance of happening. Whatever. Back to watching House of Cards.

I agree. The republican establishment will close ranks against any candidate who is not committed to endless overseas adventures. I am not sold on Paul by any means, althugh I am ssympathetic to his foreign policy views. His pandering to blacks worries me, as well as his support for amnesty and general softness on immigration.
