Despite the Nasdaq being down some 1.5 percent today, optical gear maker JDS Uniphase is continuing its upward trend. Shares of the Silicon Valley company have <a href="http://dock-of-bay.blogspot.com/p/silicon-valley-2.html">climbed 122 percent during the past 12 months</a>.
