OK done for the day and heading out soon.
Spikey action today. Lots of tails. Yesterday I had a trade go to target in 35 seconds. I have to remember that trades usually take more time than that. I did not do a good job of holding trades today. Had one trade MFE 19 just missing my 20 target and sharp retrace. Exited +6 and had I held a few more minutes it would have hit target. Happened on another trade too. Also getting slippage of 3 and 5 ticks. The action felt weird so I was a little jumpy maybe.
I'll review my this weekend as to why I am not holding longer. It's more ME than some PA knowledge I need.
Entries were good today.
+ 9 ticks today. Overall , a very good week.

Yesterday was an example of getting rewarded for doing the wrong thing. At eod despite the profit I was disappointed I hadn't done what I was supposed to do. I was trading to protect profits. I understand my behavior. I've had two of my best weeks ever and profitable 8 of 9 days. Kind of new territory for me. But I got here by following my plan without emotion and regard for PnL. That of course is where I need to be and focused on. Simply follow the plan.

Overriding issues are I'm still focused on PnL and trading for the ego.

This can be a clue PA is not ideal. We can't beat ourselves up over tough PA but we do need to follow our plan. Trading fearful. Need to detach.

"I was a little jumpy" Why ? Getting caught up in the PA. That is, the behavior of the market was influencing my behavior. Stay focused on plan and on being detached.
"I'll review as to why I wasn't holding longer" "It's more ME knowledge I need"
Don't over complicate it and don't make excuses of needing more knowledge. Follow the plan without emotion. Act with consistency. Trust yourself and the plan.
Getting past the pnl focus is the 'letting go'. I've done that at times so it's within me. Keep pushing to not push.

As to the sentence I quoted - push..., and divert your focus - to following the routine..., to allowing each trade plan to work itself out to fruition - without so much as a smidgen of intervention from you
