Was planning on doing an update over the weekend but got busy doing PA/trade review and some thoughts on trading psychology. Will probably post more on the latter later.

-5.75 Friday 3 trades, + 5.50 today 1 trade.
 
-1.50 1 trade. Pretty narrow range today. Good patience, focus drifts during these choppy days. Or am I just avoiding doing something stupid ?

Overall, a decent day.

Progress is being made and yet it doesn't quite reflect in my results. Yes, this sounds strange and No, I'm not in denial of my mistakes (exits) There is a subtle mindset shift going on that is hard to explain right now. Basically, as I believe I've said before, I'm trying to focus on what I'm doing correct to reinforce that behavior. Also working on being conscious of my focus , thoughts and letting go of mistakes. By that criteria it was a good day.

Positives: Good focus, good entries and patience. Held last trade even after it hesitated after entry, thought about taking small loss but left it alone , based on PA/Stop, then continued to hold til it ran.

Focus did slip on my last trade when I lapsed into "if I exit now I'm up for the day" thinking.

Trading was actually pretty relaxed and enjoyable.

+ 6.5 ( +.75 , +.50, -1.75, +7.00)

First it must be completely internalized (assimilated) ... then..., it'll manifest with external actions (and results)

Not much to say about today. Going in to the day I didn't feel as focused as I thought I should be but I figured I got enough sleep so I should be fine. Well, I wasn't.

Very nice entry on first trade then poor exit missing a nice run. Had a hard time shaking that off despite my goal to move on.

5 trades , - 6.75 pts. Not a good day to be unfocused as there were some great moves.

Today again reinforces the importance of the mental game. Time to get back to work on it.

Yep, focus is a nice thing.

Today was a good confidence builder. Felt good coming into the day and I got positive results. Perfect.

I will need to learn to refocus after a profitable trade and look for re-entry opportunities.

The emphasis remains mental work which doesn't make for a very interesting journal but it 's a nice change from always looking at charts trying to figure out what I did wrong.

Rollover day and price still in opening range so likely done.

Trade target was 3765 area res and TL but bumped it up to mid zone on the strength. Was trying to raise it again but got filled before I could. Just as well I think.

Make sure you set aside some time this weekend to rest

Just as important as maintaining focus during the week is

Come Monday - it'll be back to work..., but for now - get some rest - you've earned it

-2.75 pts today on 3 trades. Not much to say. Money to be made today despite range bound. My mental state and focus good but not quite quick enough to act or reverse to catch a decent trade .

No worries.
 
Good focus but back to hesitating. Only two trades. Forced the second one late in the session to get me to start pulling the trigger. Won't do that again. Doesn't do any good to practice the wrong behavior.
