January 6th Final Report

The Capitol Police are under Pelosi chain of command. And she bears responsibility for the low level of training and preparedness of the capitol police.

The President can authorize federal troop or order the federalizing of nation guard but the Governors/or DC Mayor must request. And they failed to pull the final trigger and order them in.

Because it is interjurisdictional there are various sign-offs and signals that must be completed but you are somehow implying that there is no mechanism for the use of troops federal/local comibined to protect the capitol in a threatening situation. That's bullshit.

Except you ignore that the Trump administration rejected responding to requests for additional protection. Mainly because they were driving the January 6th insurrection.

IMO any time a violent mob intent on undermining democracy invades a main government facility in a manner that puts the lives of government officials at risk --- the automatic response after they force their way into the facility should be required to be the use of firearms by law enforcement and/ or the national guard against the insurrectionists. It does not matter if it is ANTIFA invading a federal courthouse or the January 6th insurrectionists invading Congress.

The bottom line is this:

Ashli Babbitt was a white woman shot by a panicky, untrained officer black officer with numerous racial grudges and support for radical BLM activities. He perceived an overwhelming threat from her that two other officers much closer to her did not see nor were they panicked.

If Ashli has been a black transgender who was shot by a white male officer, the officer would be in prison for several decades and Ashli's surviving family would be rolling in the cash after a massive payout if she were protesting with BLM at the time. Kamala would be speaking at her funeral.

You are on your own, as I said, in your argument that there is no arrangement for the Capitol Police and DC Mayor to request troops for the defense of the capitol. And the bottomline is what I said it is. If those were the facts, a black being shot by a white officer would have you completely reshuffling your logic.

In regard to the Capitol Board and all of that, one third of it is the Sergeant of Arms for the House who reports to Pelosi and Congress has oversight of the Capitol Police and their preparedness or lack thereof.

Go ahead. Look me in the eye and tell me the outcome and assessment of that scenario would have been different if Ashli were a black transgender protesting with BLM and shot by a white officer. You can't do it.

In addition, the presence of weapons somewhere in the vicinity of the Capitol building, if true, did not create a basis for executing someone who was not brandishing a weapon nor was anyone near her.

Pelosi and Bowser failed to call in the troops that Trump had authorized - but the locals make the final decision- and they were all panicked and overwhelmed and the general failure of the Capitol Police to have a plan beforehand is reprehensible.
