2350 THLD @ 6.09

Very strong momentum towards open, possible short squeeze, options related buying after open, looking for >6.50. Potentially add some if momentum keeps up, any addition will result in the stop price being increased.

Stop 5.09.

Edit: added 1650@5.84, big guy was selling 50k

THLD: Sold 3200 of 4000, at different levels on its run up. remaining 800 are set limit at 100 each: 6.68,78,93;7.14,29,44,59,74
Or stop around 6.00.

Trade worked out just pretty much perfect... got a bit cautious after the quick sell off just before open, would have added more size otherwise at around 6 after open.


WMT: no trade, though it would have been a perfect set-up with the weakness after open, however it just went too fast, when it dropped down to 60.0x... was initially looking to short it around 60.25, but it just fell through in an instant.

About Open Positions: Looking for 6862.5 and below. Don't even dare to think about closing those remaining 3 contracts any earlier, as US Markets have also quite some room on the downside.

Added some DAX shorts around 6907 (12 pieces) in a scalp attempt.

In case the stop gets hit at 6925-30, those scalp shorts could dig badly into the overall profit.

Stop not hit yet, but i'm shocked of that move, that just happened... 14 points up in a second on a big order and stops hit... didnt expect the market to be that thin...

Looking to close the short on continued strength. might be more around the 6930ish level, than the 6925.

added some more shorts around 6920. pretty decent size short now

Dax short @6950, with a bit of scalping, which went well, till the last trade, which took around 3'000$ off the overall profit. But it showed the thin line between profit and loss, had the position been stopped out at the 6925 when a big guy hit the tape (high was 6924), overall profit would have been pretty much down to 1'000 EUR. And if it went straight back higher after some more shorts added at 6920 a loss of approx. 2000 $ would have been the result on a stop out around 6925-30.

+3654 EUR = +4849.2 US$ (risk on a max pos size of 40 - though only for very short time - must be taken at worst case 20 points, so around 25k $)

Wow, this is interesting, it didn't care of me closing out in anticipation of a move >6925.
It looks very tempting to reenter the short on a breach of 6910... but 15min to european market close, that's just not a good idea.
