Jack Hershey methods

Quote from Cocaine:

I explained in another thread that I misused the term SCT, I sat with a man who traded using price, volume and channels and I ASSUMED incorrectly that he was trading the Hershey Method when in fact he did not even know Hershey. There were similarities in his approach, but it was my mistake to have called it SCT. The man I sat with did not stay in all the time but he did reverse his position (the few that I saw) instead of just exiting and remaining flat. I do not believe he used YM or tick charts just the 5minute and also the 1 min. I have been scalping ES in addition to my stock trading using pieces of what this man used, not "SCT".
Keep back pedaling.

Whatever ... oh I KNOW.

You were drinking while you were watching him, so you got confused and thought he was trading SCT, but actually he wasn't.

Is that right?

Is that what REALLY HAPPEND? :p

Yes I made a mistake in calling something SCT when in fact it wasnt. You can either choose to understand how someone could confuse channel and Price/Volume action trading with SCT or you don't.

Alot of what works in trading intersects at many points, its not a surprise that one mans successful techniques seem pretty similar to anothers.

Please, by all means show me where I am bragging about my trading "prowess". Go right ahead.
If you're going to be a liar, you need to have a good memory:
Just for reference I am a profitable trader (0ver 100K+ per year in equities).

Also, please link where I said I personally TRADE the Hershey method. Where I tell everyone that I trade SCT. Go on, show me.
Apparently you don't know how to search here either...
I have not been trading it long, however I did sit with someone for the day and watched them trade SCT...

Get your facts straight bro, you are a scatter brain.
You may want to consider taking your own advice. But something tells me you won't.

Maybe you'd like to read the last page+ of this thread.

Also "just for reference" is just that, to give the readers an idea of what is going on. Considering the thread it was an important detail. If you think 100K is alot for a trader and really a means for bragging you really are a small fish :)

Yada yada yada Cocaine.

You're protesting way too hard here.

As a guy who needs to drink before trading, defends JH while denying you "trade his methods" (kinda like sneaking him out the back door there ain't ya?) and are obviously hanging-out with the SCT crowd in the hopes that you can one day replicate what you "say you saw", you have less than zero credibility.

Nobody belives your bullshit.

You are the one making the big deal, I told you it was my mistake in calling something which it wasnt. You can choose to see that or you can choose to continue argueing like a child.

Somehow I bet it will be the latter :D

If it
  • Posts like a Jack Hershey acolyte
  • Trades like a Jack Hershey acolyte
  • Defends Jack Hershey in a trading forum like a Jack Hershey acolyte
Then it is a Jack Hershey acolyte!

Duh ... hey, maybe you can introduce booze into the program ... you know, so what Jack says to you actually starts to make some sense. :D

Considering that I have seen first hand the abilities of an experienced futures trader who uses both Price AND Volume AND channels means I know that the integration works. I dont know if "SCT" works and I dont know that Jack Hershey even trades. I have no idea of either of those things. I personally think Jack is nuts which is why its so funny that burst and his clan go to all ends to smear him.

What I do know is the synergy of these components, in the hands of an experienced trader, works. You guys can deny it to no end (which you will) but that doesnt change anything.

... and this is what Cocaine is going to look like after fully incorporating the Jack Hershey method into his drinking schedule.
