No, at my question as to who is the better backtester/coder. You've said that J Hershey shit doesn't work and now Bwolinsky said that is one of the best backtests ever. One of you (or neither of you) is good. You can't both be good so which is it?

Who's the bigger shill for Hershey, you or Tums? Now which is it?
Quote from Corey:
That source code is practically illegible. You sure you didn't make any more mistakes in there?
I tried translating it to legible pseudo code, but some of the functions seem undocumented and vague.
It might help if you annotate the code with some comments that speak to the exact portion of the Hershey method you are addressing, and spell out in English what you are attempting to do mechanically. That way we can translate it into code required to run on our machines...

P.S. Why was "debunked" added to the thread title?
Does anyone really believe that 10 pages of code (that probably "peeks" at future bars) to make 25 trades lends credence to Hershey's "methods" in any way?

Sorry for asking stupid questions but my ex was a trader and used read me Jack's posts for a laugh, and I picked up he's some kind of lunatic.
He also followed your work but I understood you said Jack was data peeping and that was the final nail in the lunatic's coffin.
Are you now saying that Jack was right after all? What about the peeping issue?
The reason I'm asking is I'm trying to learn how to trade and while my ex. taught me a few things I've a ways to go, but 500% PA is hard to beat.
Can I use Jack's system to trade for me as a program or do I need to learn it manually?
Answers appreciated and I'm impressed with your honesty.
