J-Trader, X-Trader and TWS

Quote from nasdaqmadness:

I have been using Bracket Trader with IB and this works really well. 1 click entry for multiple contracts. instantly transmits your stops and targets. Nice scale in or out feature, and best of all its free. I mostly scalp ES and YM so this type of set up is a must. FT (Futures Trader) is also great front end for IB. Happy Trading

In my opinion, the cream of the crop for these front-end programs working with TWS is www.ninjatrader.com
Official version one release due soon but it's already very stable and working great "live".

nasdaqmadness,

Thanks for staying with BT even if it has not been updated for more than 6 months and in spite of all the other great frontends coming out.

Have you checked the BT site lately?

X-Trader is very customizable and is one of the most stable platforms. You can set up hot keys and configure the layout of the software multiple ways.

If you want to try out the X-Trader simulator PM me and I'll get you a free trial.
