I've paid over $60,000 in commission the last few weeks and im done

I think I'll start by leasing an IOM seat for 3 months if they offer the same reduction in fees as buying a seat. Seems really cheap and maybe I will buy afterwards if I find it is worth it.

Buying saves you a little more than leasing.

I think the difference is 12 cents.

I see thanks. Do you know the pricing or where I can find it.

Is it 0 for buying vs 12 cents for leasing?

What i found is you do not pay NFA as a member and exchange fee for owning is $0,35. $0,47 for leasing and $1,18 for non member

Ok thanks. I'll call to be sure. I know someone who claims to have 0.05 per side all in. Sounds too good to be true but this isnt the kind of guy that usually lies.

Definitely sounds too good to be true.

I guess not much is known about 'private brokerage accounts' or if they are of any significant benefit vs good retail brokers.

If anyone has any knowledge about them that would be great. Yes, of course I will end up calling anyway and asking different brokers but would be great if I get some knowledge so I can ask better questions.

You have to CALL them, on a real phone. Not TEXT them, or send them smileys. :-)
