I've Never Seen Such Emotion About An Election...

Quote from BlindLemonBoosh:

McCain 2007: {George Bush} "should be judged very, very well as far as the economy is concerned. We're in a long sustained period of economic growth."
."

McCain September 15, 2008: "Our economy, still, I think the fundamentals of our economy are strong."

they are right if you look at the numbers objectively. The huffington post is wrong.

Quote from CaptainObvious:

This is starting to look more and more like Germany in the 30's. Along comes a charismatic leader that "unifies" the nation.
Everyone remembers Hitler at the end of his reign of terror. What people convienantly forget is just how popular the guy was in the early days. Take 6 minutes and watch this clip and tell me you don't see Obama and his throngs.

The Captain is Oblivious.

Obama is all about decency and the common good. Even fed up Republicans are endorsing him. (Explain that, why don't you?) The reptilian Republican extreme is all about fear and hate, which draws a far better parallel to Hitler than what you are suggesting. Listen to Obama's message rather than counting the throngs. In so doing, the throngs should give you comfort. Unless, of course, you're more comfortable lurking in the shadows of fear and hate.
