Please don't take this as me bragging.. I just want to express that I've been trading off and on for approx. 4 years now.. never been successful until recently..

I posted yesterday that I met my weekly goal.. well .. today I exceeded it even more...

I must say I have never felt so in tune with the market.. I started out the day down.. and never once did I think I was done for the day.. I kept saying to myself ..no problem.. a good trade will be coming shortly and I'll get it back and then some.. and sure enough.. I did.. I was aggressive when needed to be and pulled back when things weren't going my way.. I'm not sure what it is but since Tuesday I have just been able to read the market so well..

I hope this is a sign of things to come and not just a one time fluke..

I'm going to have a relaxing weekend and hit the charts Sunday night..

Good luck all.. and have a good weekend...

Jeff

Great!!
Main thing is that you do not change a thing, do not get fancy. Stick with what was working for you and dont try to fix it before l it's broken .

Keep your emotions in check, the biggest losses often follow overconfidence. You did well, but you are also well aware that it can all be taken back in a flash.

Congratulations on your success! Can you tell us, what are you doing different now than you did before?

The main difference I believe is I've learned to protect my capital above everything else..

meaning, if I go long and the market moves 1 - 1.5 points in my favor.. I immediately move my stop up to slightly above breakeven.. this way I make sure I don't lose anything.. lots of times I'll get stopped out and the market will eventually go my way.. but I've also saved a lot of money by doing this.. because usually the best trades will go your way and not look back..

I believe this is the biggest positive change in my trading..
