No offense taken. I'm hip to the Star Wars lingo.
See, that's the problem with text versus voice. Without being able to hear tone or inflection, people misunderstand each other. I see kids that would rather text each other than talk, and I'm sure that offenses occur that were never meant.
Technology. Ain't it great?

I saw a comedian the other day doing a bit about how there should be different fonts to express different tones of voice in emails
- such as Sarcastica, and Good Times New Roman...
 
Hello everybody,

I began trading Forex since March this year. I use MT4 as a platform. I have demo account there. The system opened me 5000 dollars demo account. First month I completely ruined 2 accounts, so I lost 10000 dollars. Next month I decided do not pay attention to market news and to sophisticated technical analysis. I decided to make one or two trades a day only if I see a strong trend. And for every trade I made I immediately place stop and take profit orderes, so i could loose 250 dollars or win. By doing this simple thing I managed to increase my balance from 5000 up to 8600 dolars in two months. The ratio of my stops to profits are 1:2.
Also I trade between 12:00-13:00 New York time and do just one trade or two but in diffrerent currency pairs.
After placinf all my orders I quit Forex and come back next day to see what happened to my trades and make another trade if I see some good "lines" on the chart.
I am a novice in this Forex thing and would like you proffies to give me advice. Is it just luck or some sort of strategy? Should I keep trading this way or it is going to be some sort of time wasting?

Yep, good lines on the chart are always better than bad lines.

If you want an opinion on your strategy then you're going to have to post a chart and a description of what you're doing :)

China has been stockpiling huge amounts of steel and oil, among other commodities, apparently with no clear (to us) reason. When they stop, prices will be affected.

Who knows when that will be! :) I'm still short from 8100. Stop is 8240.
