It's time for Starbucks and many other corporations to do the right thing

Politics aside, their coffee tastes like crap and is so overpriced it's absurd. But then my wife loves the shit and has no problem spending the money. This is just one more thing I must endure being married to a liberal. Hey, them hippie chicks are fun, I got to say.
I have not been to a Starbucks in a few years but, if I recall correctly, you can order a dark or lighter roast. In any event, I don't like to order coffee that has already been made, regardless of guarantee of freshness. I prefer my order to be made on the spot, so I normally order a long espresso (~twice the water). Freshness is more certain and it has a full-bodied taste. I order mine with a little bit of hot milk, much less than you would get in a cappuccino or cafe au lait (latte). Give that a try, at Starbucks or elsewhere.

You're right, but I can't drink much coffee these days. The whole Afib thingy put a halt to caffeine. Prior to this I did usually make my coffee at home. Rarely drank it otherwise.

You could always get chamomile tea there. I have to believe that is exciting for someone- maybe with a dash of milkweed. I see people coming in that look like they have a concealed garlic press on their belt ordering it.
