Sorry, Psychology Forum, yes ET has one. The gist of it is, no paper trading doesn't work because when I trade live I get scared. So wouldn't it seem the problem has little to do with paper or live but is more of a psycho issue? No wonder they think paper trading is not teaching them how to deal with the issue, or as they call it "learning to trade."No. You are lumping the wannabees from those who treat this as a serious business,. I respectfully disagree.
Congratulations, you're ready to go pro. If it gets boring, put on something stupid in your paper account just for the hell of it.Always get things backwards? If anyone has a psych problem it is the habitual practitioners.
Ahhh did I hurt your feelings "big pro trader man".Congratulations, you're ready to go pro. If it gets boring, put on something stupid in your paper account just for the hell of it.
What's your problem? Is it all about ego's and how much of a tough guy you are with you? Java is simply telling you to go knock yourself out, be the big manly man about town, grab your balls and spit. We'll both be happy to be the counterparty to your trades!Ahhh did I hurt your feelings "big pro trader man".
%%May I ask, what is the real purpose of your paper trading?
I know of one prop who used to put people on a sim for up to 4/5 years, so as to protect their own capital before letting their trainees into their real money accounts.
Some others, to learn the platform.
For some to make sure they do not confuse the buy with the sell button ( fat fingers anyone).
And so on.
