Its pride month

Is everyone wearing their Price Patch on their coats, hats, socks, underwear, shoes, uniforms,
pants, shirts and hanging a Pride Flag outside their house? Have you painted your house in Rainbow colors? If not, you should be ashamed of yourselves, you are a bad person!

Some baseball players do not want to wear a patch. How dare them! These baseball articles are meant to shame those with a different belief system! New articles every day to remind everyone that some baseball players are really, really bad people!

This is why i dont trust historians. if i were important they would write i was homophobic
in the textbooks based on "clear evidence"

but the truth is i couldn't care less about gayness.

i just think its funny to allocate a month to "have pride" in your sexual orientation.

It might be funny but when they were outlawed to exist or function in society or persecuted, can they at least celebrate finally having some recognition as being human or part of society.

It is easy for you to say you dont care about it but the rest of society certainly cared.....so much so they made it a crime or allowed gay people to be kicked out of jobs or denied rights. In other words... you have to admit that was pretty horrible to treat people that way just for their sexual orientation.

You will find that most people who ask why do we have this celebration or that recognition were never denied basic human rights just for being themselves. I ma not be gay but I have fmaily members that are and they still had to jump through hoops just to get married ( go out of state) or adopt children (face more scrutiny).

I would love to get to a point where we stop celebrating firsts in 2022 or recognizing finally removal of barries. Also my life does not change just because there is a Pride Month so It does not bother me.
