The democrats will then say that he was really the nominee because Russia helped him secure the nomination so that Trump would be up against a weak candidate.

Bernie Sanders briefed by U.S. officials that Russia is trying to help his presidential campaign

U.S. officials have told Sen. Bernie Sanders that Russia is attempting to help his presidential campaign as part of an effort to interfere with the Democratic contest, according to people familiar with the matter.

President Trump and lawmakers on Capitol Hill also have been informed about the Russian assistance to the Vermont senator, those people said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence.


It is not clear what form that Russian assistance has taken. U.S. prosecutors found a Russian effort in 2016 to use social media to boost Sanders’s campaign against Hillary Clinton, part of a broader effort to hurt Clinton, sow dissension in the American electorate and ultimately help elect Donald Trump.

Yup. And I am okay with that narrative. Let er rip. Put the hammer down and full throttle it. Put a little meth in the tank along with the Marvel Mystery Oil and let em go as far as they want with that.

The dems are getting a little visit from karma. They trained everyone to believe that Russian-supported candidates are illegitimate candidates. Guess whose frontrunner just fell into the little hole that they had originally dug for Trump with all the russian election talk.

And let's face it. They don't call him the Comrade for nothing and his soviet bootlicking goes back a long way. How can I vote for a guy like that? The Comrade likes to say now that his brand of socialism is a denmark/norway model and never was a russian model. Yeh okay. So we have pictures of you honeymooning in Copenhagen then, or was it Moscow.

Bernie just lost my vote. How can I support a candidate propped up by the Russians? And I was so close to voting for him.

It's also causing me to rethink some of the other candidates. You know how you guys dismiss it when I say that Klobochar looks a little bit on the babushka side to me? I think I may be on to something there and you need to listen up. Could be another Russian agent like Bernie.
