It's official the economy has turned......

Quote from RCG Trader:
Mobility was THE reason I went into nursing. It is the most mobile career in the states.
Quote from RCG Trader:
Here in Peoria...
Is it just me or is there a contradiction here?

Quote from RCG Trader:

Here in Peoria they are begging for experienced industrial engineers. They also need fork lift and truck drivers again. Now this a manufacturing town, and something positive is happening. I just wonder if it's going on elsewhere.
Watching the papers for another career I see. Putting the wrong drug in the IV will do that for ya. :D

Quote from 377OHMS:

Not just in the USA, as an RN you could work anywhere in the world and you would be practically a doctor in some countries. It might be the most mobile profession there is worldwide.

I keep hearing there is a shortage of RNs. Healthcare is quite the growth industry.

I was told that from a client who was originally from Albania. But, I am not sure how we are, as Americans, perceived elsewhere, and I am not really into ending up a hostage. I did have a stint where I thought hard about becoming an expat. That is some complicated business, don't know who to trust.

Quote from Lucrum:

I thought nurses called them patients?

Prostitutes call them clients.

:D
LOL Good catch. I don't think we REALLY know what RCG does in Peoria. His claim to being a male nurse is probably just to throw us off the track of his real profession - garbage collection.

Given he works third shifts exclusively, I'm thinking more along the lines of a shopping mall security guard.

Imagine walking around alone in a dark shopping mall all night every night, no wonder he's lost his mind.
