see post just above this one, it applies to you as well
I can assure you, it has very, very little to do with the "warring for the past 20 years".
Ok, then, if war cost nothing, US need to start more wars. Maybe invade Peru to take their lithium mines. Could worth a lot of money for the company that go mine there, and stock "traders" here will make big profits.
War is quite costly, however that is not the US issue, right now. The issue seems to be the leadership, foreign policy, government programs, and tax increases.
Well if they start more wars, there will be more arms manufacturing, more jobs for everyone, more taxes collected. If the enemies are destroyed, there will be no worries on the foreign policy because there won't be anyone left to be foreign.
The problem I see is the wars are currently too small and not using up any arms at all. Ideal wars would be WW2 sized or bigger, where real money can be made. That means you really have to pick a fight with the russians or the chinese. US leaders need to grow a pair.

Right as well we are still the #1 country people WANT to get to....

US is not a democracy at all.
If it was, changing presidents and parties would have produced real changes in Domestic and Foreign policy.
Instead, US is a train heading for the cliff without stopping for the last 30 years.
Same people are in charge, and same people will be in charge the day US collapses into depression anarchy and civil war.
