It's Not Man Releasing CO2, Stupid. It's The Rain Forests

Does the weather seem to be more irratic? Maybe this is the reason. The Amazonian basin produces 20% of the world's oxygen and helps regulate world wide weather. (of course, democrats can't make any money off our oil use if they blame the deforestation for climate change)

Trundling along the dirt roads of the Amazon, the giant logging lorry dwarfed the vehicle of the investigators following it. The trunks of nine huge trees were piled high on the back – incontrovertible proof of the continuing destruction of the world's greatest rainforest and its most endangered tribe, the Awá.

Rainforests serve as part of the lungs of the world as well as moisture and temperature regulators. They are separate from the oceans and the algae that also serve as part of the worlds lungs, producing the oxygen that we require to breath. However, as the oceans become increasingly polluted, the dependance upon the rainforests around the world increases. Another concern that exists is if it were not for rainforests the earth would end up as a drier and hotter place racked with temperature extremes and wild weather as the norm.

Maybe pspr has grown a new leaf and is starting to realize that there is a real problem the world is facing.

Deforestation is part of the problem because less CO2 is being removed from the atmosphere but it is only one piece of the puzzle and can't logically be the only piece. Less CO2 being removed plus an increasing rate is being added by human activity as the world population increases.

We do better than lighting things on fire for energy, it's not a partisan conspiracy, it's just common sense.

You can talk all logical and use facts and rational thinking and be backed up by the world's scientists and common sense............... but it won't work. The denier's minds are permanently made up. They will never believe it no matter what evidence is presented.........
