I though idea of shutdown was to get rid of x,xxx,xxx govt workers without benefits.

Ridiculous, make sure you got some hard assets, these idiots in office are flirting with the possibility of the USD becoming a worthless.

Someone needs to stop this nonsense, until then, diversify your cash, this won't end pretty for the american people.

Hell, it's the sole reason market continues to act strongly.
 
IMO the action is to minimize the .1 or .2 or .3 effect on GDP. Nothing new that the government spending contibutes a lot to GDP. There is no morality here. Every actor is doing what he/she is paid to do to maintain this state of affairs. Now, I guess, the show can go on a bit longer without any worries. ES above 1690 would say to me we are back on track and i will try to trade accordingly.
