"It's just a flu" ... COVID-19 #1 Killer in U.S.

Well, whatever you think the death rate is, it would be good to figure this thing out now, in preparation
for a future pandemic. You know, the one that is just as contagious, but kills 25% - 50% of those infected. It's coming.

Pandemics have been happening more frequently now...every 10 - 20 years.

Wouldn't be surprise if a really bad Pandemic shows up and wipes out a large percentage of the population with the same type of idiots calling it "like a common cold" or "like the flu" or maybe "like the Covid-19".

I still remember the HIV global epidemic...some of the world brightest and conspiracy theorist thought for many months that only gay people can be infected. Scary to see that the same type of deniers and downplayers are still around.

Just to put this into perspective----If 500k deaths are realized, this would represent .15 of 1 percent of the population on The US. --99.85 percent of the population of the US would not have died from the coronavirus. It just has not been a big deal in the country as a whole. Mind you however, gummint response and overreach has been massive.

most are more nuanced.

Its just the flu for the healthy and those under 60 or 70.
Its less then the flu... hundreds of times less deadly for young kids.

Its is a serious killer for those with pre existing and the old.
Those with pre existing conditions and old....

They really should not be out of the house or interacting with family members if they wish to live. IMO.

He has a faithful cult on social media spreading his gospel without realizing there are republicans within the party doing what it takes to expel the tyrant.

So what do you believe this proves. This picture is from a story about a new hospital being setup in Madrid that costs 100M Euro being setup by Spanish authorities but not in operation yet. It has 1000 beds.

Are you trying to claim that all the hospital beds are empty so COVID is fake and there is nothing to fear. I dare say nearly all of the doctors and nurses working on the front lines have a very different view.
