It's hard for me to see any U.S. ties to Russia…except for

"called on Comey to resign."

EXACTTLYYYYYYYYY

NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE asked Trump to fire Comey, he did it to save his own ass, let's not pretend Trump is listening to Dems now - if he was then first person to fire would be himself
Polly La Buffoon,

Explain how it will save his own ass!

There goes another parrot libtard making up their own reality again.

Just because you make shit up or regurgitate libtard propaganda, it doesn't make it true.

Manafort thing: Briefly campaign advisor: Hired to work in Ukraine in 2005 for System Capital Management, a company owned by Akhmetov (who supported Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, whose party supported Russia’s Putin. Manafort worked on Yanukovych’s political campaigns- a very difficult electoral time in Ukraine. He fled to Russia in 2014 after Ukraine’s revolution.

Ukraine and Russia are not allies. Yanukovych is not in power in Ukraine. Manafort was hired to work on building a political party in a country developing democracy. This is not the only post-Soviet nation to hire political consultants from the West.

Tillerson- As CEO of Exxon for 40 years- Yes, he worked with petroleum nation, Russia. And, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq… That was his job at Exxon, to make deals with petroleum-rich nations.

Sessions: As a Senator, Jeff Sessions met with the Ambassador of Russia. He also ran into him at a conference These are normal events in the life of a Senator. Nancy Pelosi also met with the Ambassador of Russia, Is she under investigation for ties to Russia? He is recused for the investigation, has no knowledge of what is happening etc. Thus, he could work with Pres Trump on Comey’s firing.

Kushner: The meeting between Trump son-in-law Kushner and Gorkov does not violate the US sanctions, and it is not unusual for businesses under sanctions to meet with US officials, experts said (CNN).

"I don't see any problem in having a meeting," said Paul Saunders, executive director of the Center for the National Interest, a Washington, DC, think tank. "The prohibitions relate to doing business with the banks, not to talking to them. (CNN)"

Carter Page: Minor National security/Foreign Policy advisor during Trump campaign, Is cooperating fully with the Russia investigation that he characterizes as a “witch hunt”. Worked at Merrill Lynch’s Moscow office;

Mr. Page has indicated in correspondence to the Committee that he “looks forward to working with us on the matter, and that our cooperation will help resolve what he claims are false allegations," the committee's chairman, Sen. Richard Burr, and ranking Democrat, Sen. Mark Warner…(MSNBC).

The Senate also asked Page for information about any financial holdings he had in Russia between June of 2015 and January of 2017. Page's ties to Russia include investments in Russia's state-owned oil giant Gazprom. Said Mr. Page: "Please note that I purchased 200 American Depository Receipts of PJSC Gazprom in June 2008 for $5,909.00," Page wrote on Monday. "I divested my stake in August 2016 for $798.98 – a net loss of $5,110.02."

Roger Stone: Trump Campaign Advisor: 1996- business with Paul Manaforte- Black, Manaforte, Stone & Kelly, Will “comply fully” with Senate’s requests to testify; Ended his roll with Trump campaign in August 2015;

Feliz Sater: Employed in Trump’s real estate organization, trying to line up lucrative deals in the United States, Russia and elsewhere in Europe; According to court records and U.S. officials, Sater also worked as a confidential informant for the FBI, and — he says — U.S. intelligence;

Met Trump 2003, not close; few deals succeeded- Trump Soho Hotel in Manhattan; Claims to have met with Trump attorney, Cohn, over a peace deal in Ukraine- WH has no information on said deal;

Boris Ephsteyn: White House press guy, resigned to explore other opportunities ?? And?

Rosneft and Gazprom are Russian oil companies that did business with Exxon. Carter Page lost $ on stocks he bought in Gazprom-sold in 2016. AND?///??

Azerbaijan thing: The Trump Organization was considering a deal in Baku to construct the ‘Baku Tower’; the deal fell through, likely because of Azeri corruption. And, what does this have to do with Russia and our election??

“I love Putin” thing; What “I love Putin” thing? That Trump would like Russia and the US to work together to destroy ISIS? Well, YES, if they can. Why not?

Donald Trump, Jr. thing: Yes, the President has a son, Donald Jr. He and Eric are running the Trump Organization and not making any new deals during their Dad’s presidency.

Sergey Kislyak thing: He is the ambassador of Russia. He does his job- meet with American officials, promoting the positions of Russia. He really dislikes our Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, who has repeatedly called out Russia for supporting Syria’s Assad, embarrassing Russia.

Sergey Gorkov: Works for Russian bank, Vnesheconombank, met with Jared Kuchner about keeping lines of communication open. Not that unusual.

Emoluments Clause: Part of the Constitution: The Title of Nobility Clause is a provision in Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the United States Constitution, that prohibits the federal government from granting titles of nobility, and restricts members of the government from receiving gifts, emoluments, offices or titles from foreign states without the consent of ... The President is not accepting gifts from any foreign nations.

Alex Schnaider: Billionaire developer who built the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Toronto is selling it, "We’re looking to sell it in an orderly fashion. The bank is doing nothing to hinder a sale. Alex is not interested in this form of investment any longer,” stated Symon Zucker , his lawyer. (Bloomberg). The Trump Organization, the company led by Donald Trump, Jr, licensed its name to the property and is its management firm;-- AND? Relevance to the Russia investigation???

Hack of the DNC thing: Yes, the DNC, a private organization, was hacked when Podesta gave his password to the hacker after asking Podesta’s tech guy about a suspicious email, who replied to him accidently in the affirmative instead of the negative!!! (Don’t do that, btw!)

Guccifer 2.0 Hacker, responds in English and basic Romanian, probably a Russian (BBC). We know this. Why is this evidence that the Trump campaign colluded? It is not.

Mike Pence “I don’t know a thing”: Mike Pence is the Vice President; He says he doesn’t know about any collusion with Russia during the election; What else should he say about something he doesn’t know about?

Russians mysteriously dying??? Who died?

Trump’s public request to Russia to hack Hillary’s email thing: July 26, 2016: QUOTE: “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing... I think you’ll probably be rewarded mightily by our press.” He did NOT ASK RUSSIA TO KEEP HACKING! LIE!! This was also a joke. Listen to the video

Trump house sale for $100 million at the bottom of the housing bust to the Russian fertilizer king thing: “What do I have to do with Russia?” he replied to reporters’ questions at a press conference in Doral last summer. “You know the closest I came to Russia, I bought a house a number of years ago in Palm Beach … for $40 million, and I sold it to a Russian for $100 million.” That was a bland, if fairly accurate, summary of a wild and goofy tale of the Palm Beach real-estate market involving tax fraud, Russian billionaires (Miamiherald.com);

YES, Mr Trump sold a house to a guy who is Russian in 2008. This is REALLY pathetic.

Russian fertilizer king’s plane showing up in Concord, NC during Trump rally campaign thing: Mr. Rybolovlev has never met Mr. Trump personally and has no connection whatsoever to Mr. Trump or his team of advisers,” Chemitsyn said (Charlotteobserver.com). Prove otherwise if you can. Conjecture is not fact or evidence.

Nunes sudden flight to the White House in the night thing: Mr. Trump claimed he was being surveilled. Nunes found evidence this was true, and told him. “It’s clear that I would be concerned if I was the president, and that’s why I wanted him to know, and I felt like I had a duty and obligation to tell him,” Nunes said (Huffington Post). AND????

Nunes personal investments in the Russian winery thing: UNPROVEN says Snope. shttp://www.snopes.com/devin-nunes-wine-russia/

Cyprus bank thing: Wilbur Ross, Democrat- the Current Secretary of Commerce -- Established career at Rothchilds, Founded company WL Ross and Co in 1997, among the leaders in advising various constituencies in bankruptcies and workouts around the world, assisting in restructuring more than $200 billion of liabilities. Contrary to what Rachel Maddow says, there is no information/evidence to back up her claim that Ross ever was affiliated with a bank in Cyprus.

Trump not releasing his tax returns thing: They are under audit! What has this to do with the Russia investigation? Nothing! Padding the list again! Sad!

Republican Party’s rejection of an amendment to require Trump to show his taxes thing: It’s under audit…they know no one releases a tax return under audit, as everyone’s lawyer tells them!

Election hacking thing: It is being investigated by over 150 agents, Senators, Congressmen. Padding list AGAIN?

GOP platform change to the Ukraine thing: At the GOP Convention last summer during the writing of the GOP Platform—“When asked why he told Acosta that Trump did weigh in on the subject(Ukraine), when he told BI in January that neither Trump nor Manafort were involved, Gordon emphasized that he had told BI that Trump was not involved "in the details" of the platform.

"Meaning they weren't part of the process to write, draft, edit the document, or weigh in with the delegates at all," Gordon said in an email. "That said, the overarching thought of better relations with Russia was certainly their strategic position." (BusinessInsider).

If we can get Russia’s help to defeat ISIS, isn’t that a good thing?

Steele Dossier thing: “Christopher Steele, the former British spy who wrote the infamous anti-Donald Trump dossier, acknowledges that a sensational charge his sources made about a tech company CEO and Democratic Party hacking is unverified. (WashingtonTimes.com)

In a court filing, Mr. Steele also says his accusations against the president and his aides about a supposed Russian hacking conspiracy were never supposed to be made public, much less posted in full on a website for the world to see on Jan. 10.” (WashingtonTimes.com)

Leninist Bannon thing:“Lenin wanted to destroy the state and that’s my goal too,” replied Bannon. “I want to bring everything crashing down and destroy all of today’s establishment.”(TheGuardian)

Since Congress has an approval rating in the single digits, I think he may be onto something. The “establishment” was rejected in electing Trump and Bernie Sanders, the anti-establishment Democratic candidate, gave Hillary a run for her money. But, Bannon is free to say anything he wants in a free society- isn’t he? AND- what does this have to do with Russian interference in the election????

Sally Yates can’t testify thing: She testified under oath on Monday, May 8, 2017.

Intelligence community’s investigative reports thing: ?? They don’t comment on active investigations? AND?

Trump reassurance that the Russian connection is all “fake news” thing: Monday 8, 2017- Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said before a Senate Judiciary subcommittee that he was not aware of any evidence demonstrating collusion, but also said he had been unaware of an FBI investigation into the matter until FBI Director James Comey announced it to the public at a House hearing in March.

Clapper previously made a similar comment in an interview on NBC. Pressed by Sen. Lindsey Graham if that claim was still accurate, Clapper said, "It is." (CNN);

Spicer’s Russian Dressing “nothing’s wrong” thing: It is the job of the White House Spokesman to prevent the White House positions, policies, explanations and answer questions. This is his job.

Chaffetz not willing to start an investigation thing: “Our job is not to be a cheerleader for the President, and I think that’s, over the long term, one of the things we’ll be judged by is, did you call balls and strikes that are coming over the plate, to use a baseball metaphor, did you call the same on Democrats as you did on Republicans?” Chaffetz told “Full Measure” host Sharyl Attkisson in an interview.

Sounds rather willing to go where the evidence takes them—a sentiment repeated quite often during the testimony.

Chaffetz suddenly deciding to go back to private life in the middle of an investigation thing:

A personal decision of his. I could speculate on why, but that is valueless, like much on this whole list. You might want to read this, though. http://www.deseretnews.com/article/...n-Chaffetzs-sudden-decision-to-walk-away.html

The Lead DOJ Investigator Mary McCord SUDDENLY in the middle of the investigation decides to resign thing: Again, a personal decision. Your speculation has no foundation or facts.

Appointment of Pam Bondi who was bribed by trump in the trump university scandal appointed to head the investigation thing: What does Trump University have to DO with investigating the Russian hacking? Nothing.

Bondi now has a complaint against her being investigated, but she’s not investigating anything.(firstcoastnews.com)

The White House going into full-on cover-up mode, refusing to turn over the documents related to the hiring and subsequent firing of Flynn thing: “Legislative affairs director Marc Short said the committee is requesting documents that are not in possession of the White House because they involved Flynn's activity prior to President Trump’s Jan. 20 inauguration. Other documents sought by the committee, from after Jan. 20, involve sensitive information, he said.” (TheHill.com)

On Tuesday morning, the committee reviewed a batch of documents responsive to the request from the Pentagon behind closed doors. Those documents, said both chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and ranking member Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), suggest that Flynn broke the law by declining to disclose the payments from both Russia and Turkey in his application to renew his security clearance… (TheHill)

Sounds like they have the documents they need.

Chaffetz and White House blaming the poor vetting of Flynn on Obama thing: Pres Obama fired Flynn in 2014. Flynn’s security clearance was renewed by the Obama Admin in April 2016, while his questionable trip to Russia, the $65,000 payment, took place in 2015 (Newsweek). That is squarely on the Obama Administration. Why was his security clearance renewed if he was a security risk? It is a VALID question.

Poland and British intelligence gave information regarding the hacking back in 2015 to Paul Ryan and he didn't do anything thing: Sect of State John Kerry was warned by British Intelligence about Russian interference in 2015, not Paul Ryan (TheGuardian). Couldn’t find anything on Poland.

The trump team KNEW about Flynn's involvement but hired him anyway thing: Flynn’s involvement in what? Russia? This came out afterward, and not from Flynn! He took money from RT, a Russian firm ($65,000) and Turkey. Subpoenas have gone out for a Grand Jury- we can guess it is related to this. Flynn was fired for lying to Vice President Pence, a good move. He was a bad guy.

The Corey Lewendowski thing: “I sat next to Donald Trump for 18 months and 18 hours a day never, ever, ever, ever did he direct me or anybody else ever to have any communication with any foreign agency whatsoever – it never happened,” Lewandowski said.(Boston.CBS.local)

Preet Bharara firing thing but before he left he transferred evidence against trump to a state level:

March 10, 2017, 46 attorneys in the DOJ were fired. This is normal. Former president Bill Clinton asked all 93 US attorneys to resign on the day he assumed office. What was abnormal is Bharara refused to resign when Attorney General Session requested, forcing Trump to fire him. Trump originally asked Bharara to stay on because of a request by New York Sen. Chuck Schumer, who made the suggestion when he and Trump were discussing how best to work together. Schumer was unhappy with Trump's decision to ask Bharara to stay on and then subsequently ask him to resign.

(https://www.aol.com/article/news/2017/03/11/preet-bharara-the-sheriff-of-wall-street-is-fired-by-trump-af/21880048/)

So, Trump fired Bharara in an effort at bipartisanship! NOT a cover-up.

Schneiderman thing: “I’m told by my source that Bharara took that time while still in office to collect and transfer all Trump files to [New York State Attorney General Eric] Schneiderman”.

The only problem with this is there is no confirmation anywhere else on this. NONE. Doesn’t mean it’s not true, it just means it is unconfirmed. Claude Taylor sent out a tweet. Who is this guy? An “insider”? He’s a photographer. He’s no political insider.

Betsy Devos' Brother thing: Mr Prince is the founder of Blackwater, a private military company. On the behest of the United Arab Emirates, representatives of Blackwater met in Seychelles with Russia to work out a deal.

The White House was unaware of this. (New York Post)

Sebastian Gorka thing: Serves as a counterterrorism expert on the Trump Team, defends Trump’s policies and positions. Spokesperson. Hungarian heritage. And???

Greg Gianforte from Montana thing: Running for office in Montana, he sold his software company, RightNow Technolgoies, to Oracle, making millions! Has index funds with some ties to sanctioned Russian businesses; "Anyone who invests in emerging markets around the world have investment in Russia," Gianforte responded. He called it a small portion of his investments and pledged to put his investments in a blind trust.” (BusinessInsider.com)

Pence actually was warned about Flynn before he was hired thing: Yes, Congressman Elijah Cumming mailed a letter to VP Pence telling him Mike Flynn was a bad choice—sent the letter AFTER he’d been announced the National Security Advisor. Mike Flynn was fired on Feb 13, 2017.

https://democrats-oversight.house.gov/sites/democrats.oversight.house.gov/files/documents/2016-11-18.EEC%20to%20Pence.pdf

Pence and Manafort connection thing: Strategic Media Group:SMG develops an overriding branding theme supported by targeted specific message points to reach various voter groups consistent with the qualitative and quantitative research provided by the campaign pollster. As the media consultant for your campaign, SMG will be a senior member of the professional team and will be available every day to participate in strategic and tactical decisions.

  • Both Pence and Manafort are clients, along with two Russians. Their clients also include:
  • Freedom Foundation (Indiana)
  • Woodrow Wilson Education Foundation (New Jersey)
  • National Mining Association
  • GoPAC
  • Propane Vehicle Council
  • Coalition for Affordable & Reliable Energy (CARE)
  • ALEX & ANI (Rhode Island) (dailykos.com)

Allies coming forward with audio where trump was picked up in incidental wire tapping thing: Congressman Nunes confirmed that there was incidental surveillance of Trump back in March 2017. (NYTimes) It confirms Mr. Trumps tweet that he was the subject of Obama “wiretapping”. Mr. Nunes stated “To be clear, none of this surveillance was related to Russia or any investigation of Russian activities or of the Trump team.” And, Mr Nunes later stepped down to avoid any conflicts of interest, to maintain the integrity of the committee’s investigation—once AGAIN, demonstrating that there is NO cover up needed.

Carter Page defying the Senate's order to hand over his Russian contact list thing: He calls this a “witch hunt” so he’s clearly not happy, but he is cooperating. Padding the list, we covered this before!!!

AND NOW the Trump wants to VETO Sally Yates' testimony thing!! Sally Yates’ testified under OATH on Monday. This is just untrue.

And the Trump just fired James Comey thing!! The FBI Director serves at the will of the President. Comey should have been fired July 6, 2016 by President Obama. He definitely should have been fired Nov 10, 2016 by President Obama. Pres Trump waited until he had his deputy FBI Director (Rod Rosenstein- approved in the Senate 94-6) so he would HAVE someone permanent in position once Comey was fired—And with Rod Rosenstein’s recommendation—based on the legal opinions of 6 previous Democratic and Republican administrations AG and Deputy AGs, who all agreed 100% that Comey had seriously erred—He fired him. The Russian investigations 150 agents are STILL investigating, the senate is still investigatng, the House is still investigating. NO request for additional resources were made prior to Comey’s firing.

SO, NOOOOOO- there is NOTHING THERE WHEN YOU USE FACTS, NOT FANTASY TIN-FOIL HAT CONSPIRACIES AND HYSTERICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Manafort thing: Briefly campaign advisor:

Your very first line is a complete lie, Manafort was the CHIEF CAMPAIGN MANAGER for Trump's Presidential campaign until the NYTimes reported on his Russian connections which AP later confirmed.

"In March 2016, he joined the presidential campaign of Donald Trump to lead Trump's "delegate-corralling" efforts. In April 2016, Trump fired campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and promoted Manafort to the position. Manafort gained control of the daily operations of the campaign as well as an expanded $20 million budget, hiring decisions, advertising, and media strategy."

Ukraine and Russia are not
Yanukovych is not in power in Ukraine. Manafort was hired to work on building a political party in a country developing democracy. This is not the only post-Soviet nation to hire political consultants from the West.

Nobody said Ukraine and Russia are allies, what they pointed out is

"Manafort proposed in a confidential strategy plan as early as June 2005 that he would influence politics, business dealings and news coverage inside the United States, Europe and former Soviet republics to benefit President Vladimir Putin’s government, even as U.S.-Russia relations under Republican President George W. Bush grew worse."
https://apnews.com/122ae0b5848345faa88108a03de40c5a/manaforts-plan-greatly-benefit-putin-government

And this guy was Trump's CHIEF campaign manager.

You got your first two bits of 'debunking' conspiracy theory completely wrong, should I go on?
