Also, both, medium \R and /B are completed and built with skinny r2r2b2r and b2b2r2b.

Hi romanus,

I understand the dotted TAPE is not correct. After several days of rereading your post, I still can't figure out what 'skinny r2r2b2r and b2b2r2b" mean. What is the difference between R2R2B2R and r2r2b2r?
Could you use the attached chart to explain the difference? Or, you may provide a chart for illustration. TIA

Trendlines generally continue until price breaks out and stays out. As such I continued the 'Burgundy' trendline until 13:45 BO.

Hi romanus,

If You consider Coffee trendline is the accelereted trenline of Burgundy trendline, then both of them are same fractal level. Based on Spydertrader's definition,13:45 bar is an FBO of Burgundy trenline. I extended Burgundy trendline with dotted line to show that the Burgundy trendline is still effective because 13:45 bar is not a BO of Burgundy trendline. And as such, Olive point 2 and 3 are overlapped with Burgundy trendline.

If you find an amended difinition of BO and FBO, please post the link. TIA

This is a matter of sloppy annotations on my part - I used an automated trendlines drawing tool to generate the 'burgundy' trendline because I was too lazy to draw multiple Volatility extensions. The automated drawing tool is not always precise and it was not in this case. Manually drawn trendline will show the close of 13:50 OB at the trendline and the next bar closes outside meeting the definition of BO.

I have searched the iterative Refinement thread for the correct bar coloration definitions, but cannot find it.

Does someone here can find these posts (and/or explain it)?

the only post I came up with was this one about doji bar colors:

thanks,

Try the software thread, depending on what platform you use the code may already be posted. Generally, if the bar makes a higher high it's black. It would change to red only if it then becomes an OB. Inside bars are either close to close or open to close (same result). - EZ

Thanks, but I'm actually making sure the software is doing the right thing, so that's not going to help :)
