I am just 1m late but the answer can be found right on the original '7 cases'

Yesterday's PFC was, as expected, incorrect - tape drawing/fanning requires further differentiation

Don't we have to fan when price exits the traverse on decreasing Volume? (price exits your first down traverse on decreasing volume)

Thanks for the posts Ezzy, I tried to find those using Search.

I don't think so nkhoi. In both cases (OB and third inside bar) start over from bar 2.
Nothing more complicated than that.

I think Ezzy's posts above clarify Jack's intent.

another grey area, I think, from the previous thread.

I hope all can immediately identify the fallacy of this statement in both theory and objective fact.

It doesn't seem to follow from anything Jack has taught, but appeared one day and was quietly absorbed into the method. Where are points 1, 2 and 3 in such tapes and which line is the rtl?

Wanted to address your points 1,2 and 3 question. Many times on the initial 2 bar tape there isn't a 1,2,3 movement, just using the bar ends. This doesn't happen only with internals, it can happen on a trending pair too. The OB is considered an internal as well, see the document referenced in the attached for more on that. Hope that helps. - EZ
