FWIW, IMO, ticktrade, as long as you are not preaching heresy or ranting gibberish (and I don't believe you are doing either) then I have zero problem with your particular annotative style because you actually explain yourself instead of requiring me to think like you in order to figure out WTF you are talking about.

That said, I follow your logic except for one thing and that is why would you say that change was unlikely because we were in a down tape?

I guess I didnt word that so well. Signals for change can exist in tapes but as a safety rule it was suggested one wait for a tape break before entering. This, as I've seen since learning about it, has prevented one from jumping in after a meaningless low level IBGS or whatever....I also thought I had a sequence repeat signal.
When I have SC, regardless of if I think it's repeat I will look at a 2 min chart. If it agrees(usually a lower gaus peak) I will monitor it for an SOC, so in doing this I have no worries if my 5 min. MADA is spot on. That will show itself as the lower level sequences work themselves out.

My guess is that your sequence repeat signal was the 16:00 bar and that is where I erred. I agree completely about waiting for a tape break before jumping in and as well watching for increasing PV to confirm the reversal.

I am presuming SC = SOC = change signal and then are you saying that even if there is a sequence repeat signal on the 5 min ES, you will go ahead and monitor for a change signal on the YM. This YM change signal may show up as a lower Gaussian peak compared with a previous Gaussian peak and if this plays out then you will use this information to help you decide what to do on the 5 min ES fractal. Do you always go with what the YM 'tells' you to do in this situation or do you wait for confirmation on the ES?

I have a difficult time reading vol that time of day so trusting a pace jump is unreliable. I thought we just had an ff up so expected another seq.

This is going to be real unpopular too. I use the 2 min es, it’s easier for ME to find the information I need. The seqncs there will match up with the 5m.

A lower Gaus will not be a signal for change. Ideally you have a lower peak before considering an SOC.

Your kidding right? I dont always do what the 2 min says. And no you don't wait for confirmation on the 5 min. By the time you get it your 2m sequence is probably half over.
