Iterative Refinement

Quote from ljyoung:

IMO, one of the most frustrating things to deal with is when the PFC you thought you had in hand blows up the next AM. It sets a crappy tone to start the day off and invariably affects how you trade. My PFC was incorrect as was Gregor's.

I thought you had it right. If you slide the open to line up with yesterdays close the sequence played out as it always does.

Hi workwithus,
Could you share your money management for trading ES, using Jack Hershey and Spydertrader method. TIA!

I agree that your way is another way of dealing with the ^%*$^ gap.

I can't correlate your chart with your statement ... Where are 1-2-3 on your snippet?

Sorry I should not have posted that. I was only trying to show the sequence with gap removed.
I do not use that software during the day.

You dont even want to see my charts. I posted one a bit ago, it started out as a drill. I have continued that and figured they are not consistent with this thread so wont be posting them here.

I did not come up with anything new. All I annotate and care about at the moment are sequences, completion without continuation and change.
I blended tapes and gaussians into my trendlines instead of traverses and channels.
I've been putting them in a blogspot. That makes it easy to scroll through and work out a more efficient way to annotate.

The 16:00 bar showed completion and a change signal, so I think we are at the start of a new uptraverse in a new uptrend.

Clearly this is NOT correct. We gapped up and then made a new low compared to yesterday's low. Again, this is OE week so shite happens.

I still use laterals and again as Spyder has said, when he used laterals, the market will tell you whether or not you should or shouldn't have used one. So if I start a lateral with the 15:45, high volume, penetrating IBGS, then we do not generate a change signal and thus are incomplete at EOD yesterday.

Although I'm sure some of you have figured out what is going on this AM, I haven't and will STFU until there is some clarity, which at the best of times may still be a murky pool.
