Iterative Refinement

Find a few charts from Spydertrader, and on these charts find the bars marked with 'P'. Do all of them represent a change signal?

Remember, peak volume is a change signal.

I understand that the 'P' are only a signal for change when they appear at the right position (so not before a Pt3), so indeed they are not all a signal for change.

But that was not my point. My point is that there is a clear definition for 'Peak Volume. That is not the case for a PA.

The accelerating slope (and not before a pt3) is only part of the definition of peak volume.

Question about the bar marked with the blue arrow (15:3.5)
It's an ibgs down, so should one change to short at this point (and go back long when the high is broken on the next bar)

I saw it as a point of change, but maybe I'm missing something here?

thanks,

innersky
... ibgs down on decreasing volume.. so the bar is in up mode ... decreasing volume, close inside previous bar
... hence no signal of change here

I'm sure there are some other things as well, like if we completed the sequence of traverses.

But since you are apparently very familiar with this method, I was hoping you can shine some light on the 'Pace Acceleration'. What is the definition?

This would suggest to me that Guavaman's rendition was closer to the mark.

I don't recall 'suggesting' anything in my post which would lead one to the conclusion rendered above. In order to drive this point home, I had yet to review Guavaman's chart, prior to, responding to your post.

In the future, take care not to reach arbitrary conclusions. Understand what has been said, rather than, interpret what you think I meant.

Dangerous generalization, - note red point 1 down, around 1330-35 in the attached, signal for change in blue up traverse.
