When the 15:35 Bar appeared with its rather large volatility, I instinctively annotated a Lateral out into the future anticipating the market would 'fill in' the annotation as the future moved into the NOW.

I had already anticipated an accelerated traverse due to the fact the the original Traverse (Blue on my chart) Point Two found itself overlapped by the old (Pink on my chart) down traverse, and a such, I needed to see the market move non-dominant (2 to 3) prior two hitting the Point Three and moving into the accelerated traverse.

However, as you point out, this area really shows Price moving away from a Point Three, rather than, 2 to 3. I leave these things in place so people can learn to differentiate between the various types of laterals.

Spyder, I have been staring at your 10:30 bar and I can't find a reason why it is a red bar. Could you comment on it please.

This is what I have so far.
(I remembered to include all annotations this time :) )

If the yellow P1 is right then the magenta down is a traverse, so would expect an up traverse to complete that larger 1.2.3. sequence.

I am expecting a P3 of this present blue up sequence too, depending where price BO of this lateral on IBV.

Any one see if I'm completely off the reservation ?

So even though we have the up blue travers.
Am I right in thinking that we need to complete a1.2.3 sequence within this blue traverse, broadly annotated by the DASH aqua lines.
Or are we now permitted to seek change as we've had the P3 of the blue. ?

Avi, it was more a look back anotation.
I was trying to place todays down magenta traverse within a context.

The Yellow P1 was from yesterdays 20:00 bar which had PV.
SO I took that as a change bar.
The Yellow P2 may well turn out to be a P1 of a down forest channel with this blue up traverse making it's way to a P3 of a down forest.

The yellow CO channel was a big IF, and by non means an "I know", which is really the purpose of my posting.

I feel I'm about the width of a fag paper away from "knowing".
(I'm sure my annotations will prove me wrong :))

But joking aside, I'm unable to "see" the differences that distinguish when I do "get It" and when I don't.


This is leaving me without the "knowing" on each and every bar of each and every day that I "know" is attainable but still eludes me :(
